Here's what we want to see from FIFA 22 at EA Play Live

EA Play Live will commence TONIGHT!

With plenty of rumours surrounding FIFA 22, we've put a list together of what we want to see from EA's next football sim at today's event.

Career Mode & Create A Club

It appears that the FIFA 22 Career Mode will receive a lot of upgrades and quality of life improvements.

Sources have confirmed that we will be getting a Create A Club mode as part of Career mode in the next game.

The official EA website reads:

"Live out your football dreams in FIFA 22 Career Mode as you create a club and lead them from relegation candidates to global giants."

The inclusion of this mode will excite many fans who have been crying out for more depth in Career Mode for some time now.

We do not know many details at the moment, so we are hoping for more information at EA Play Live.

Perhaps a short trailer of what is to come from Create A Club during the event?

On top of this, we'd love to get a feel of the overall improvements being made to Career MOde as a whole.

You can get live updates ahead of EA Play Live right here!

All-new Player Career

Yes, we know Player Career with your Virtual Pro has been in the FIFA series for a number of years now, but the once-popular mode has been neglected for a long time now.

DRASTIC CHANGES - A Player Career Mode overhaul is in the works

The screenshot above reveals that the Player Career Mode is set for some big changes in FIFA 22.

In FIFA 22, "enjoy an overhauled Player Career experience that gives you more ways to progress, achieve, and immerse yourself in your Pro’s journey through the game."

We have very little information about what this overhauled mode will look like, so we'd love to see a trailer at EA Play Live tonight.

Ultimate Team & FUT Champs

A lot of rumours have been flying around regarding FIFA 22 Ultimate Team and the Weekend League specifically.

There's been talk of a new Weekend League stat analysis system, where you can check your clean sheets, goals scored and goals conceded, along with your win/loss ratio.

Rumours have also suggested that players will be able to watch and analyse their own match replays in the FUT Champs channel section.

While several sources have reported that FUT Champs will now consist of 20 games at the weekend, rather than 30.

We're hoping for some clarification from EA on this front, with the Weekend League being such a big part of Ultimate Team for so many people.

We'd also love to see an Ultimate Team trailer, as there will no doubt be some significant changes to the game mode.

Pro Clubs Customisation

We now know that Pro Clubs customisation is finally being revamped!

Once again, details on this are thin at the moment - all we have to go off of is what EA has stated on their website:

"With new customisation options to make your club stand out in the stands and on the pitch, a new player growth system that puts you in control of your Virtual Pro’s development, and streamlined social play that makes it easier than ever to find your next game, it’s time to get the squad together for a new season of Pro Clubs."

We don't know what any of this will look like in practice, so we'd love to see more revealed at EA Play Live!

VOLTA

As seen throughout this article, there have been new features mentioned for other game modes on EA's official site.

However, when it comes to VOLTA, EA has been pretty vague.

"VOLTA FOOTBALL returns with more flair all over the pitch and new ways to express your style and connect with your squad in street football playgrounds all over the world."

The statement above really doesn't give us much to go off, so we'd love EA to elaborate on this at the EA Play Live event, as VOLTA has the potential to be one of the most popular modes in FIFA.
