Season 5 of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team is now live in the game, with plenty of new content and rewards available to unlock and enhance your club.
It was assumed that the new season, named Football Nostalgia, would start with a party, with FUT Birthday leaked to kick things off, however, it has now been revealed that a brand-new promo will get things started.

Season 5 of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team began on Thursday, 16 March at the usual time of 3am ET / 8am GMT.
Rewards from Season 4 became available at this time and the new Season progression released.
Storyline Player Picks
Season 3 shocked us when Storyline Player Picks didn't feature as rewards!
It looks like EA is trying something different with Storyline Player rewards, because Season 4 mixed things up too by having the final reward as a player pick between a ST or LW version of Future Stars Folarin Balogun.
In Season 5 though, Storyline Player Picks are back, with options coming at levels 15 and 30, as you build up your XP.
We had gone through many months (stretching back to FUT 22) where these players were selected from the Eredivisie, EFL Championship, Liga NOS, and the MLS, however, that changed in FUT 23 Season 2 when cards from the Premier League, Bundesliga, and Serie A were picked!
The major league players make an appearance at level 30 with 88 ratings, with minor league players coming at level 15 and rated 85 OVR.
Division Rivals Milestone Rewards
Introduced in FUT 22, the seasonal Division Rivals Milestones Rewards for Season 4 will be available at the same time Season 5 kicks off.
Whatever results you've been getting in Rivals, win, lose, or draw, you will have been making progress toward your Seasonal Rewards.
As always, the better your rank in Rivals, the better the reward!

Promo Overview
We have official confirmation that FUT Ballers will be the first promo in Season 5 of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, and there have been some big leaks as to what will come our way!
Predicted Promo Schedule:
- FUT Ballers - Friday, 17 March
- FUT Birthday - Friday, 24 March
- Trophy Titans - Friday, 7 April
- Silver Stars Series - Friday, 14 April
FUT Ballers is a brand-new promo from EA and it is rumoured to work in a similar fashion to the Numbers Up promo from last season.
English stars Mason Mount and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have been leaked to arrive in the event already, so it could be a big one!
The annual release of fan-favourite players should arrive this season, with the FUT Birthday promo celebrating the inception of Ultimate Team.
Upgrades to skill moves and weak foot abilities will also be part of the event, making the hardcore fanbase very happy!
After that, a brand new event called Trophy Titans has been leaked, which is set to recognise players who have won the most awards in football.
That could be an insane event, with the likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Pele all potential recipients of an upgrade!
There could be a slight lull following that, with the Silver Star Series bringing plenty of fun - but not necessarily useful - cards to the game.
