Season 4 of Ultimate Team has drawn to a close in FIFA 23, making way for everything FUT Season 5, Football Nostalgia, has to offer!
EA has now confirmed that FUT Ballers will kick things off in Season 5 on FUT, and there have been plenty of leaks as to what other promo events will arrive over the coming weeks.

Release Date
Season 5 of FIFA 23 Ultimate Team got underway on Thursday, 16 March, and will end on Thursday, 27 April.
The new season went live in FUT at 3am ET / 8am GMT, bringing with it a host of new content that will be available for six weeks.
Storyline Player Picks
Storyline Player Picks have been a staple of each new FUT season for years, but EA has decided to switch things up recently.
In Season 3, no Storyline Player Picks were on offer - instead, they were replaced by rewards.
There were no Player Picks in the Season 4 Storyline either, with the only player reward coming in the form of a Future Stars Folarin Balogun at Level 30.
However, Storyline Player Picks are back in Season 5 with selections at both LVL 15 and LVL 30.
The level 15 picks are rated 85 OVR and come from the Eredivisie, MLS, and Liga Portugal.
Major league players are available at level 30, with Real Madrid's Nacho Fernandez an exciting option with an 88 OVR.

Rewards
As always, the new season will bring plenty of new objectives, offering players the chance to earn loads of rewards including packs, tifos, badges, and other consumables.
The Season 5 storyline Football Nostalgia has shaped the rewards available in FUT with some retro badges and custom options available.

Promo Overview
EA has confirmed the first promo of Season 5 with a new loading screen in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
FUT Ballers will arrive on Friday, with Chelsea star Mason Mount set to arrive as an SBC according to leakers.
Predicted Promo Schedule:

- Trophy Titans - Friday, 7 April
- Silver Stars Series - Friday, 14 April
According to various reliable Ultimate Team sources, the annual FUT Birthday promo will also be arriving in FUT Season 5.
The FUT Birthday campaign celebrates the anniversary of the Ultimate Team game mode being introduced to FIFA and will see EA create unique cards with special skill moves / weak foot upgrades and position changes.
The rumours are all pointing towards a new promo being introduced to the game following on from the FUT Birthday promo, named 'Trophy Titans'.
We aren't quite sure what the Trophy Titans promo will entail just yet, but we expect it to focus on the game's serial winners and could include special items for Icons and FUT Heroes too.
Then, the annual Silver Stars Series could return to FUT, bringing us plenty of awesome Silver items to enjoy.
