FIFA 22: What to do in Ultimate Team this week

With many different tasks and game modes, FIFA 22 Ultimate Team can be a tricky place to prioritise your playtime in.

We have you covered, with this weekly look at all the objectives and SBCs, letting you know what to look out for and where to avoid.

Where possible we will also be highlighting how to combine multiple objectives, to streamline your play.

Monday

Team of the Season is here, with the Community TOTS and Eredivisie TOTS squads now in packs.

There is a new Live FUT Friendly: TOTS Cup, with corresponding objectives, where you can gain packs to make the most of the promo, so make sure you play your allocated three matches a day!

As well as that, there are a couple of objective players you can add to your squad for free, one representing each promo team.

Unfortunately, you cannot combine them, as the requirements for the TOTS Daniel Parejo mean you need to play in the Live FUT Friendly: Community Challenge.

However, you can combine the Brazilian Barrage section of the TOTS Mauro Junior objectives with the Selecao one from Icon Swaps 3.

You have until Friday, 6 May to complete the two players' objectives, so they should be first on your to-do list.

There will be plenty of new content coming over the TOTS promo, so make sure you don't forget about completing the Icon Swaps 3 objectives.

The first set of nine will expire on Monday, 23 May, so there is no massive rush just yet, and you can look to combine the objectives using this guide.

You will want to complete all the Icon Swaps 3 objectives in order to gain the best rewards!

Tuesday

The MLS Squad Foundation objectives will expire on Tuesday, 3 May at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, so we hope you've already completed them!

Today is your last chance to bring in the Silver Stars Eddie Nketiah, who could be the missing link for your Silver squad.

With the objectives being able to be completed in less than an hour it's definitely worth doing, as free players should never be sniffed at.

Wednesday

During Team of the Season, we expect Weekend League rewards to become available at 3am ET / 8am BST on Wednesdays (instead of Mondays) if you did not complete all your matches.

This is because the schedule has changed, with FUT Champions now open between 3pm ET / 8pm BST on a Friday until 3am ET / 8am BST on a Wednesday, to allow for TOTS promo squads to be included as rewards.

Unfortunately, you won't be able to gain any Eredivisie TOTS players rated higher than 90 OVR, as there is a cap on rewards they are in, but, depending on how many points you get, there is no limit on Community TOTS players.

That means a 96 OVR Luis Suarez and 94 OVR Aymeric Laporte are both up for grabs!

Team of the Week 33 will arrive on Wednesday, 4 May at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

We've been spoilt over the last few weeks with massive stars being included in the squad, but it could be more of a low-key affair this time.

An 88 OVR Sergej Milinkovic-Savic may be the highest rated card we get, after his Man of the Match performance and goal helped Lazio in their push for European football next season.

Voting for Team of the Season continues, with the LaLiga TOTS vote opening at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, so head over to the EA website to make your selection.

A new Silver Stars card will also be released, so get that completed and out of the way so you don't have to worry about it for the rest of the week.

Thursday

Division Rivals rewards will be released at 3am ET / 8am BST on Thursday, 5 May, but aside from that, it should be a quiet day for new content.

Get all the objectives players completed, work through Icon Swaps 3 objectives, and qualify for FUT Champions.

Friday

Weekend League kicks off at the new time of 3pm ET / 8pm BST, so make sure you've qualified for that if you plan to enter.

The Community TOTS will rotate out of packs, with the Premier League TOTS replacing them at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

We should also get another objective and SBC player relating to the Prem squad at the same time.

The LaLiga TOTS vote will close at the same time, so make sure you have submitted your selection.

Saturday

If you've qualified for Weekend League then your day will be occupied with that.

Look to be hitting 51 points as a minimum, as the rewards get much better from that stage upwards.

Other than that, Icon Swaps 3 and player objectives will be where you spend your time, competing in Squad Battles to earn better rewards for Sunday.

Sunday

Squad Battle rewards will be available at 3am ET / 8am BST, which could be quite good if you've been playing them for the Icon Swaps 3 and player objectives.

Team of the Season cards will also be available as Squad Battle rewards throughout the promo but are restricted on rating unless you hit the Elite ranks or higher.

If you land anywhere between the Silver 2 and Gold 1 rank the TOTS reward will be pretty similar, so that should be your aim unless you want to go Elite.

Again, it will be another day of Weekend League, Icon Swaps and player objectives, Squad Battles or Division Rivals.

We will get another TOTS squad release at 1pm ET / 6pm BST, when the EFL TOTS replaces the Eredivisie TOTS in packs.

Live SBCs

There are loads of Icon cards available at the moment, and we would recommend completing their loan card options, as you can use them infinitely in FUT Friendlies, and they could come in very useful in the future.

• Joao Felix - A card that is so cheap you will have no problem completing it with fodder in your club
• Martin Terrier - Same as above!
• Giacomo Raspadori - If you haven't already got one, he could be your Serie A endgame striker for a very fair price
• Olivier Boscagli - Super cheap for a French CB who can gain the stats of a 95-rated player on the right chemistry
