FIFA 22 Ultimate Team is in the middle of another massive promo, with the Future Stars event reaching its halfway point.

The best young players in world football have been rewarded with massively boosted cards that mimic their potential future rating, bringing brilliant new cards to the game.

Team 1 has spent nearly a week in packs, so it's time for Team 2 to take over.

Latest news - Ajax Man Confirmed

There have been plenty of leaks surrounding the Future Stars promo, but we have official confirmation for one man.

Ajax's Ryan Gravenberch will be in Future Stars Team 2, and from the leaks we've seen, it looks like he could be incredible, with a 92 OVR card.

If the leakers are right, then we should be in for another 92 OVR midfielder, with Florian Wirtz also set to come in Team 2.

Release Date

Future Stars Team 2 will arrive on Friday, 11 February at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

Alongside the squad release, we are likely to see some new objectives and SBCs too!

The Future Stars Swaps SBCs will also be made available at the same time, meaning you can finally trade-in your tokens for rewards.

Future Stars

The Future Stars event officially kicked off on Friday, 4th February, at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT, although the Swap Tokens had popped up in the game before then.

Future Stars is a promotional event in Ultimate Team with special Future Stars player cards handed out to the most promising youngsters in world football.

Only players who are aged 23 or younger will be eligible for a Future Stars card.

These Future Stars cards will represent players at the expected pinnacle of their careers, rather than right now.

EA has also brought in another set of Swaps Tokens, which we have seen in the Icon Swaps promo as well as the Winter Wildcards one, and the rewards are as follows:

  • 2 Tokens - Rare Players Pack
  • 3 Tokens - 81 - 89 x10 Player Pack
  • 5 Tokens - Ultimate Pack
  • 8 Tokens - 86 OVR Future Stars Jeremie Frimpong
  • 12 Tokens - Future Stars Team 1 Pack (x1 Player)
  • 12 Tokens - 88 OVR Future Stars Jeremie Frimpong
  • 15 Tokens - 85+ x10 Player Pack
  • 20 Tokens - 89 OVR Future Stars Connor Gallagher
  • 25 Tokens - Future Stars Team 1 Player Pick (x3 options)

There is a return for Future Stars Academy Player Objectives too, which will see you able to unlock upgraded versions of a few players, mimicking their potential growth as footballers.

Last season we saw three Academy Players released, with Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, and Reinier all made available through objectives.

This year we have already had Trevoh Chalobah Academy Player objectives, with more players expected to join.

Leaks

There won't be any surprises for the Team 2 release, with the full squad leaked well in advance.

Team 1 had some real big hitters involved, so Team 2 will look to be just as outstanding.

Pedri is set to headline the second squad, with an enormous 93 OVR card leaked, although it could be Ryan Gravenberch who gains the most sought-after card, with insane stats leaked for him too.

Maxence Lacroix will also prove a popular pick as everyone loves a pacey centre-back, and his Bundesliga and French links will only increase that popularity.

Pedri

As with Jude Bellingham in Team 1, Pedri is already a regular for both club and country and looks set to reach the very top of the game.

That is reflected in his leaked 93 OVR rating, which shows him with an astonishing 90 PAC and 95 DRI, not to mention the very good 83 DEF, which sees him as an extremely capable all-round centre midfielder.

Ryan Gravenberch

Speaking of all-round midfielders, Ryan Gravenberch could steal the show as the best release from Team 2.

Set to become a member of the FUT favourite Gullit Gang, Gravenberch can do it all and has that extra bit of pace and physicality to set him above the rest when pure technique may not prove enough.

Florian Wirtz

Florian Wirtz has been tearing it up in the Bundesliga and Europe this season, with 21 goal involvements in 25 games.

That brilliant record has been rewarded with a 92 OVR card that will see him become one of the best CAMs in that game.

Maxence Lacroix

Another player we're tipping to be very popular once released is Maxence Lacroix.

The pacey centre-back was a go-to inclusion in many starter squads, and this will be his first upgraded card in FIFA 22, so we expect him to be popping up in loads of squads.
