Valorant may be coming to console soon and there is now some solid evidence for this. The game has become one of the most popular FPS titles in the world, building a large fan base. So, many players have constantly been asking about when Valorant will be coming to consoles.
Currently, Valorant is only available on PC, just like many other huge Riot Games titles. League of Legends is available in the Xbox Games Pass, but the game is still not playable on consoles. Only Wild Rift has been confirmed to release on multiple consoles, such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
Since Valorant is such a popular game, with a growing esports scene, it's surprising that it isn't yet on any major consoles. However, Riot Games has been working hard to bring the game to consoles, and its arrival may be close.
So, let's take a look at any information we have about Valorant coming to consoles and a potential release for this to happen.
Release date
A recently released developer video gave us a little insight into when Valorant will be coming to consoles. Although not explicitly stated, we should expect the game to come in the near future, possibly at the beginning of 2024.
Riot Games has also been hiring plenty of new people to work on this project. It recently hired a "Game Design Manager, Console" and "Senior Game Designer, Console". This confirms Riot is currently working on the console version of Valorant.

As of right now, there is still no official date for the launch of Valorant on consoles. Hopefully, we can have that in the near future.
However, if we could take a guess at when this may be available, we would say early 2024. With the hiring process for the game underway, we know that Riot will want to perfect this, so another year or so seems like a good bet.
