Valorant on Xbox Games Pass: Free Agents, Skins and More

Valorant Agents

Valorant Agents

The Xbox Games Pass has included many new and exciting games that are available to play for free under the subscription fee. Riot Games has recently announced that they are partnering with Xbox Games Pass to bring all of their games to the service.

One of these included is Valorant, the 5v5 first-person tactical shooter released by Riot in 2020. The hype for this game is already huge, so the collaboration with Xbox will not only bring loyal fans over but also bring new fans to the game.

So, without further ado, let's see which Valorant rewards you can earn with the Xbox Games Pass.

Free Agents

Xbox Games Pass will offer players the chance to play all 22 agents for free whilst also covering new agents who can be played also for free from the release date.

Players will also get a 20% XP boost on their Battle Pass, event pass, and active agent contract. This way, they will be able to claim rewards quicker than most players. It also makes it easier to finish the new events that Valorant releases.

Any skins?

Although there have currently been no free skins announced by Riot or Xbox, it is under speculation that this may be the case.

There could even be a possibility of an Xbox-inspired skin line coming out. With the glowing green and metallic look of the Xbox logo, it would make sense for these to be included more in the Valorant world. And who wouldn't want to see an Xbox-inspired Viper in-game?

What if my subscription ends?

Riot's Joe Hixson stated that rewards like free champions, agents, and decks will be revoked if the Xbox account subscription ends.

However, he also said that “Everything earned from gameplay will stay unlocked later if you let your subscription lapse. That’s part of the reason for the bonus experience that also comes with a linked account. I’ve seen people comparing it to the Riot Unlocked model that’s used in PC Bangs and that’s very close to what we’re doing here.”
