NBA 2K22: What time does Season 2 start?

NBA 2K22 Season 2 is almost here, and that means new rewards will land in the game as soon as the Start Time arrives.

NBA 2K22: What time does Season 2 start?

After learning the date that NBA 2K22 Season 2 would begin, we've now got confirmation of the program's start time from 2K.

In the official Patch Notes for NBA 2K22 Update 1.05 that just recently arrived, they noted near the top of those notes that the season would begin at 8am PT.

This lined up with an expected start time, as previous and future Season-specific Locker Codes were set to expire at 7:59am PT, signaling the next minute would be the start of the next season.

Here's the official NBA 2K22 Season 2 Start Time on October 22, 2021 for various time zones:

• Pacific Time: 8 AM
• Mountain Time: 9 AM
• Central Time: 10 AM
• Eastern Time: 11 AM
• British Summer Time: 4 PM
• Australian Eastern Daylight Time: 4 AM (on October 23)

Season 2 Start Time also signals end of Season 1

One important thing to keep in mind is that the start of Season 2: Build Your Empire also means that Season 1 will come to a close.

Anyone who has been playing through NBA 2K22 since launch will have likely made their way through at least some of the rewards for Season 1.

However, you may want to check and see if there's another rewards you're very close to acquiring.

If something is just a few games worth of XP away, make sure to spend some time in NBA 2K22 before the Season 2 Start Time arrives.

This will be your last opportunity to grab any Season 1 Rewards for NBA 2K22, and after the Start Time is here the Rewards will reset to the new Season 2 options.
