Genshin Impact 3.0 will go live in exactly one week, and things are about to get very active with a ton of new content arriving soon. This includes the first Genshin Impact 3.0 banners which will feature Tighnari and Zhongli!
The first batch of Dendro characters is on its way, and we should prepare our Primogems to get our hands on some of them.
Tighnari has been chosen as the first 5-star Dendro. He is a DPS bow character with the potential to become the new Ganyu.
Recent leaks revealed the full roster of 4-star characters that will also feature Zhongli's rerun.
With that, here are all the details to help your decision to wish or not to wish for the first Genshin Impact 3.0 character banners.
Release Date
The first phase of Genshin Impact 3.0 will go live on Tuesday, August 24, 2022, around 11 am Server Time (Chinese Standard Time).
This breaks down to the following in other time zones:
- August 23, 11 pm EST
- August 23, 8 pm PT
- August 23, 4 am GMT

Genshin Impact 3.0 First Phase Banners
The first Sumeru banners will feature Tighnari and the fourth rerun of the Geo Archon Zhongli.
We don't know yet the duration of the banners, as the next update will be shortened by one week with Genshin Impact's modified schedule.
These are the two banners of the first half of Genshin Impact 3.0
- Viridescent Vigil will feature Tighnari - a 5-star Dendro Bow Character.
- Gentry of Hermitage will feature the rerun of Zhonglu – a 5-star Dendro Polearm Character.
The following 4-stars characters complete the banner.
The Genshin Impact 3.0 update could be called Bow Impact, as it will be a banner with all bow characters.
Additionally, the new 5-star weapon will be Hunter's Path, a powerful bow, and we are getting another for Free, the 4-star called End of the Line, via fishing.
Do note that Collei will be the free character in the main event of Genshin Impact 3.0, something to keep in mind if you were planning to spend your Primogems to get her.
Weapon Banner
The first Weapon Banner in Genshin Impact 3.0 will be the debut of the 5-star bow, Hunter's Path, the signature weapon for Tighnari.
For the second 5-star in the banner, we will get the Vortez Vanquisher that until today has not been viable in the meta.
