Genshin Impact Collei Materials: Ascension & Talent Material Farming Guide

It is official, Collei is the first Dendro character in Genshin Impact, and she will be a 4-star Dendro Bow character.

Leaks from the Genshin Impact 3.0 Beta have also revealed more details about the character ahead of her arrival.

Among them, we've learned about all the required Collei materials, including Talent & Ascension Materials.

With that in mind, here's our Collei farming guide to gather all the necessary materials to get the most from her on launch.

Collei Release Date

As one of the new characters debuting in Genshin Impact 3.0, Collei is expected to arrive on August 24, 2022.

Collei will be the main reward of the main event of version 3.0 called, Carving of Innocence.

The event will combine story and world exploration. Some new furniture for the Serenitea Pot will also be part of the rewards.

According to recent leaks, Collei will be part of the same banner as Tighnari as well.

Collei Farming Guide

Collei is an apprentice, soon to become a Forest Ranger. The Forest Rangers take care of the Rain Forest in Sumeru.

She is a 4-star Dendro character and uses a bow as a weapon, but she also brings a floral boomerang and her little companion called Cuilein-Anbar to the battle.

Collei Ascension Materials

These are the ascension materials you'll need for Collei. Unfortunately, some of them can be found only in Sumeru, so you won't be able to get to them before the launch of Genshin Impact 3.0.

Majestic Hooked Beak

This is a character level-up material dropped by the Jadeplume Terrorshrooms, one of the new bosses coming in Genshin Impact 3.0.

• This boss will be located in the rainforest of Sumeru.
• Players need x46 Majestic Hooked Beak for Lv. 90 Collei.
• The Jadeplume drops 2-3 pieces of these materials once it is defeated for the cost of 40 resins.

Rukkashava Mushroom

This Sumeru Specialty is a fungus that grows in layers upon layers, like a sea of clouds. It grows on trees deep in the Rainforest.

• Players require x168 Rukkhashava for a Lv. 90 Collei.

Hillichurls Arrowheads 

Collei uses the materials dropped by Hillichurls Shooters. They are a very common enemy in all regions.

18 Firm arrowheads, 30 Sharp arrowheads, and 36 Weathered arrowheads in total are needed for Lv. 90 Collei.

Collei Talent Materials

The Arrowheads drop by Hillichurls Shooters are used for Collei's talents as well. You can find these enemies over hills and watching towers.

• Collei talents require the following materials:
  • 18 Firm arrowheads
  • 66 Sharp arrowheads
  • 93 Weathered arrowheads

Trounce Domain: End of the Oneiric Euthymia

Magatsu Mitake Narukami no Mikoto is the name of the new weekly boss. Players need to battle the Raiden Shogun, the puppet created by the Electro Archon.

The Raiden Shogun will drop Tears of Calamitous God when defeated.

• Collei needs 18 of these tears for max talents.

Rest of Talent Materials 

For the moment, we don't know the names of the texts required to level up Collei's talents, but this will be revealed in time.

What we do know is that in Sumeru, instead of books, we will have texts carved in stones instead.

Nagadus Emerald

Sumeru will introduce a new crafting material that will be necessary for the Dendro Character in Genshin Impact.

Players will find the first pieces by defeating the Jadeplume, the Statue of the Seven, and Chests.

Best Weapons for Collei

Based on Collei's abilities and constellations, we believe she will be a great support character. However, the Damage from Collei's Dendro reactions will also increase based on her ATK.

With that, we think the best weapon for Collei will be the new craftable bow from Sumeru called King's Squire.

Hunter's Path, the new 5-star weapon also arriving in Genshin Impact 3.0 looks like another good option, it will be a bit less accessible.
