Pace is one of the first stats you look for when selecting a card in Ultimate Team or Career Mode, with the mechanics of the game notoriously favouring speed as the meta every year.
The faster the player is, the more effective they are in-game.

Kylian Mbappe (OVR 91 - PAC 97)
With another Golden Boot, another Ligue 1 title, the most assists in the league and for the club, and a new lucrative contract deal, Kylian Mbappe really is the king of Paris.
The Frenchman won't receive the boost in overall rating that many expected.
What is certain, however, is that Mbappe will be the fastest card in the game.
Adama Traore (OVR 79 - PAC 96)
Not only will Adama Traore have blistering pace, but he will also be very high in the strength category, making him one of the most powerful players in the game.
The Spaniard, who recently returned to the Premier League following a short loan spell with Barcelona, will retain his 96 PAC rating from FIFA 22, with a +1 to his overall.
Vinicius Jr (OVR 86 - PAC 95)
One thing that is for certain is Vinicius Junior's pace and skill will make him one of the most dangerous players in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
He gained a huge boost following a successful UCL winning season with Real Madrid, and the Brazilian star will retain his 95 PAC stat from last year.
Daniel James (OVR 77 - PAC 95)
Fulham's new winger Dan James will land himself in the top ten for pace in FIFA 23.
Despite a low overall rating of 77, the Welsh international is easily one of the quickest players in the Premier League and this will be represented in the upcoming title.
Sheraldo Becker (OVR 76 - PAC 95)
Becker might not have the highest overall rating, but he makes up for it with an eye-watering pace stat.
A drastic upgrade to overall and pace rating will see him in the top 5 in the game - for now.
Alphonso Davies (OVR 84 - PAC 94)
Alphonso Davies was handed an upgrade in FIFA 23, with the Canadian international seeing gains in the regular FIFA 22 rating updates.
The Bayern Munich left-back will reach 84 OVR, but unfortunately with a slight downgrade to his pace.
He will remain one of the fastest players available, however.
Inaki Williams (OVR 81 - PAC 94)
The record-breaking striker for Athletic Bilbao is not to be overlooked coming into FIFA 23.
With very similar stats as FIFA 22, save for a small PHY upgrade, he remains one of the fastest forwards.
Jeremie Frimpong (OVR 80 - PAC 94)
The young Dutch star Jeremie Frimpong will be the fastest RB in FIFA 23.
With big upgrades to all his stats including pace, he is a must-pick for anyone looking for some speed in the defence.
Ismaila Sarr (OVR 77 - PAC 94)
Watford forward Ismaila Sarr is one of the most sought-after prospects amongst English clubs, following yet another excellent season with the Hornets.
The Senegalese right-winger will be up there with the very quickest in the game, with 94 PAC.
Sebastian Villa (OVR 77 - PAC 94)
While certainly not the best-known winger in FIFA, Villa is a budget option for players who want some pace without the price tag.
With a slight overall upgrade from FIFA 22, Sebastian Villa does one thing very well - run fast - and sometimes that is all you need.
