Mid R9 SBC coming soon
Yes, you heard that right...
According to reports, an R9 Ronaldo Icon SBC will be released soon in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
The Brazilian legend is one of the highest-rated and best strikers in FUT, with a 96 OVR Prime, 94 OVR Mid and 90 OVR Base.
Reports suggest that Ronaldo's Mid version will be coming as the SBC, which sells for roughly 5.4 million coins on PlayStation and 4.1 million coins on Xbox.
We expect EA to price R9's SBC as similar to his market value.
However, there are ways of getting around paying the full amount of coins, of course.
We all know SBCs are a lot more achievable than just buying a card off the market as they can be crafted with high-rated untradable players in your club.
Using your unused Non-Rare Golds which are just sitting in your club to complete the Gold Upgrade SBCs is a great way to pick up high-rated fodder.
Ronaldo (OVR 94)
This card is simply sensational.
First of all, R9 has five-star skill moves AND a five-star weak foot, which is absolutely perfect.
Ronaldo's key base stats include 93 pace, 93 dribbling and 93 shooting, but as we look a little deeper this card becomes even more impressive.
R9's Mid Ico boasts 96 finishing, 96 positioning, 91 shot power and 91 composure, which is an integral stat for goal scorers in FUT 22.
We recommend applying an Engine Chemistry Style, which will boost R9's agility and balance to 92 and 92, whilst maxing out his pace too.
Release Date
Fut Sheriff has reported that the Ronaldo SBC will arrive during the Future Stars promo.
The Future Stars promo kicked off on Friday, 4 February with Team 1 and is scheduled to run until Friday, 18 February, with the Team 2 squad arriving on Friday, 11 February.
So, we can expect to see the R9 SBC released sometime in that period.
