FIFA 22 Future Stars Countdown: AWESOME new players released into packs

The Future Stars promo has just landed in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team!

The event celebrates the best young players in the game with plenty of new cards, SBCs, and Objectives added to the game.

Latest - Team 1 goes live

A brilliant new set of players has just been released into Ultimate Team, with Future Stars Team 1 now in the game.

Bellingham and Vlahovic are the main stars, but everyone from the release looks phenomenal.

The only slight dud in the team is Botman, but even he could be a physical centre-back in your side.

Trip down memory lane

Ever wondered where some of EA's Future Stars from previous years are now? Don't worry, we have selected a few of the best players from past promos and checked how they are getting on.

The likes of Erling Haaland and Ruben Dias have been part of this promo before and they are now right at the top of the game.

There are some less successful stories too, but more often than not EA tips the right players for big things!

Release Date

Set your alarms, EA has confirmed that the Future Stars event will begin on Friday, 4th February.

There will be two sets of Future Stars players released along with plenty of Objectives, SBCs, and even Swap tokens.

There are already Future Stars Swap tokens up for grabs, so keep an eye out for those over the next three weeks!

High-value packs and players will be made available, with Crystal Palace's on-loan star Conor Gallagher one of the top rewards.

Future Stars

Future Stars is a promotional event in Ultimate Team with special Future Stars player cards handed out to the most promising youngsters in world football.

Only players who are aged 23 or younger are eligible for a Future Stars card, so it often provides plenty of new options for your team in FUT.

These Future Stars cards will represent players at the expected pinnacle of their careers, rather than right now.

Over the years we have seen some insane Future Stars cards released, so this is certainly a promo worth getting excited for.

Swaps

The fan favourite Future Stars promo is returning, and this time it's with a new Swaps system!

The Winter Wildcards Swaps went down a storm with the FUT Community, so we are expecting a similar reaction this time.

In order to unlock the very best rewards, you won't want to miss out on any Future Stars Swaps Tokens that EA releases over the next couple of weeks.

Academy

We have seen Academy players released as part of previous Future Stars promos, so we have a fairly good idea of what we can expect this season.

Last season we saw three Academy players released, with Marc Cucurella, Wesley Fofana, and Reinier all made available through objectives.

Reinier and Fofana both began the promo with 78 OVR, while Cucurella started higher with an 82 OVR.
