WATCH: NBA 2K22 Reveal Trailer

The first reveal and teaser trailer has been revealed for NBA 2K22!

With last year's reveal landing on June 11, we had to wait a little big longer but this first look has finally arrived!

NBA 2K22 is scheduled for a release date of September 10, 2021, and we also now know that Luka Doncic was selected as this year's cover athlete.

The 75th Anniversary Edition features legends Dirk Nowitzki, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Kevin Durant.

Gameplay Trailer

Last year, we saw a gameplay trailer arrive nearly two months after the reveal trailer was made public, but hopefully we won't have to wait that long this time.

There was no gameplay featured in the teaser trailer, but it did arrive a month later than last year, so hopefully we get a gameplay trailer by August 14 or sooner.

On top of that, we should get a look at what to expect will be different between next gen and current gen.

Next Gen Gameplay Trailer

The trailer releases were a bit different last year because the next gen versions of NBA 2K21 didn't launch until several months after the initial title released.

However, we've got a simultaneous launch on current gen and next gen platforms for NBA 2K22.

We don't yet know which game modes will be exclusive to next gen, but it's likely that next gen additions like The City will only be available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Cover Athletes speak, behind the scenes

With the NBA 2K22 cover athletes being revealed, we've also gotten some exclusive footage featuring each of them.

Luka Doncic was chosen for the Standard Edition and Cross-Gen Digital Bundle for NBA 2K22, and we've now got behind the scenes footage of Doncic working on motion capture for the upcoming game.

On top of that, virtual press conferences were conducted with 75th Anniversary Edition cover athletes Kevin Durant, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

If you don't have time to watch the full video, we've also covered some of their key comments and why this trio was perfect for the 75th Anniversary Edition here.
