We are in the final hours before the arrival of Genshin Impact 3.4, which will kick off the celebrations for the Year of the Rabit with plenty of pleasant surprises in-store, including many Primogems.

Genshin Impact 3.4 Release Time & Date
Genshin Impact 3.4 will go live on January 18, 2023, around 11 am Server Time (Chinese Standard Time).
This breaks down to the following release times in other time zones:
- EST - January 17 at 10 pm.
- PT - January 17 at 8 pm.
- GMT - January 17 at 3 am

Genshin Impact 3.4 Server Downtime Schedule
Genshin Impact 3.4 maintenance period will begin at 6 am Server Time on January 18, 2023.
The server's maintenance is estimated to take around five hours, with players being compensated 300 Primogems for the downtime & 300 Primogems more for the Bugs in the previous patch.
Genshin Impact 3.4 Banners
The Genshin Impact 3.4 Banners will break down into two phases, the first with two character debuts and the second with two female reruns.
First Phase
The first half of the patch will introduce two new Dendro characters. One of them is the scribe of the Akademiya Alhaitham and Yaoyao, the protege of the Adepti in Liyue.
- Caution in Confidence, the Banner will feature Alhaitham, a 5-star Dendro Sword Character.
- Invitation to Mundane Life is the rerun banner of Xiao, a 5-star Anemo Polearm User.
The following 4-star characters complete the Banner.
- Yaoyao - 4-star Dendro, Polearm user who is debuting in these two banners.
- Yun Jin - 4-star Geo, Polearm user.
- Xinyan - 4-star Pyro Claymore user.
Weapon Banner
The first weapon banner will feature the return of Xiao Signature Poelarm and the introduction of a new sword, a bit niche but with great Crit. DMG.
- Primordial Jade Winged Spear - 5-star Polearm.
- Light of Foliar Incision - 5-star Sword that is the signature weapon of Alhaitham.
Second Phase
For the second phase of Genshin Impact 3.4, we will have the return of two strong women, Yelan and Hu Tao. Even though there are no new characters in this half, both are great banners.
Weapon Banner
The Second weapon banner will feature the polearm Staff of Homa and the bow Aqua Simulacra, both excellent weapons for most characters.
What's new in Genshin Impact 3.4?
The action will be divided into exploring the Hadramaveth Desert in Sumeru and returning to Liyue for the Lantern Rite celebration.
We will also get new character cards for the Genius Invokation TCG and a temporary mode in which all dice will be Omni for a faster pace.
Main Event: Lantern Rite
In this event, we will enter the celebration of the Lantern Rite, the Genshin Impact celebration of the New Lunar Year in Liyue.
The event will be divided into four challenges:
- Whirling Flowers
- Time trial challenge, travelers will have to race and move through obstacles with their parkour skills.
- Paper Theater
- We will learn about the Paper Theatre behind the scenes at play while assisting the artisans in completing the performance.
- Vigilance at Sea
- Captain the Waverider in time trial challenges designed by a navigator of the Alcor to find the best routes to Liyue Harbor.
- Behind the Scenes
- Assist the Ministry of Civil Affairs in clearing enemies out of the wilderness using fireworks and other items to ensure the safety of the Festival in Liyue.
The rewards for this year will include a new type of Fireworks, new Serenitea Pot Furniture, Primogems, and a Liyue 4-star character in the event Fortuitous Invitation.
Second Blooming
- In this combat challenge, we will enter a domain in Sumeru to engage opponents in three rounds of combat in teams of three members with Trial Characters, like Lisa, Alhaitham, Yaoyao, and Nahida.
- We will get Lisa's New Skin for free at this event.
Warrior Spirits
- The second chapter of the Sparring Sword Competition in Inazuma. But in this edition, Ayaka will be the main character.
- In this event, Ayaka will wear her new skin called Springbloom Missive.
Almighty Arataki, Extraordinary and Exhilarating Extreme Battle Brawl
- Genshin Impact 3.4 will introduce a new animal tamer tournament, but this time with Onikabutos. The event is organized by Arataki itto.
Lantern Rite Rewards
Prepare for many Primogems during Genshin Impact 3.4 with two gift events for the Lantern Rite.
- The cumulative login event May Fortune Find You, in which players will obtain 10 Intertwined Fates.
- Additionally, all travelers will get three Intertwined Fates in their In-game Email Inbox.
