We are in the final countdown for Genshin Impact 3.3, the new patch of Hoyoverse's insanely popular gacha game.
The last major update of 2022 will introduce new Anemo Characters and the debut of the Genshin Impact Trading Card Game.
Without further ado, these are the most important news of Genshin Impact 3.3.
Genshin Impact 3.3 Start Time
Genshin Impact 3.3 will go live on December 7, 2022, at 11 am server time (Chinese Standard Time).
This breaks down to the following release times:
- December 6, 2022, 7 pm PST
- December 6, 2022, 10 pm EST
- December 7, 2022, 3 am GMT
Genshin Impact 3.3 – What's new?
Before listing the highlights for the upcoming update, we want to remind players that a considerable amount of Free Primogems will become available soon.
- First, collect the compensation of 600 Primogems for the server maintenance and all the bugs from the version.
- Second, collect extra Primogems and some ascension materials by completing the trial for the characters in the Banners.
New Characters & Weapons
Genshin Impact 3.3 will be the debut of two new Anemo Characters:
- Scaramouche (Wanderer) - 5star Anemos Catalyst User
- Faruzan - 4-star Anemo Bow User.
We are receiving two new weapons in the next update and new artifact sets.
- Tullaytullah's Remembrance, the Signature Weapon of Scaramouche.
- Tokaobu Shigure is a new 4-star sword with the shape of an Umbrella, the highest reward of the main event.
New Artifacts Set
Version 3.3 will introduce a new Domain of Blessing located in the dune of Khaj-Nisut in the Sumeru Desert, with two new artifact sets.
- Desert Pavilion Chronicle
- Set design to increase the DMG of Anemo Characters when they use Normal and Charged Attacks.
- Flower of Paradise Lost
These artifacts are designed to increase the damage of Dendro Teams with Hydro and Pyro Characters.
Original Events in Genshin Impact 3.3
Genshin Impact 3.3 will have two reruns and two new events. The action will move back to Mondstadt and Inazuma.
Akitsu Kimodameshi
In the main event, we will travel to Inazuma to participate in the Test of Courage organized by the Yashiro Commission.
Akitsu Kimodameshi will include a story quest and mini-games based on the classic video game Breakout from Atari, in which players must destroy bricks with the help of elemental balls.
Across the Wilderness
Cyrus, the head of the Adventurers' Guild, is hosting a special event where travelers must catch as many Wilderness Balloons as possible.
Players will be able to use the character skills to gain an advantage, additionally, the event will have a compass that will provide players with buffs to help them catch as many balloons as possible.
Genshin Impact TCG - Genius Invokation
Perhaps, the biggest news for Genshin Impact 3.3 is related to the debut of a new permanent mode called Genius Invokation.
Genius Invokation is a trading card game (TCG) based on a traditional game from Sumeru created by the King Deshret.
The first batch will include a bit more than 200 cards divided into:
- Characters
- Talents
- Weapons
- Support (NPCs & Locations)
- Artifact Cards
- Event Cards
To obtain new cards, travelers must-win matches against characters and NPCs, including cats. Find more about the cards and rules of Genius Invokation here.
We don't know the exact date on which Genius Invokation will become available. However, we will get more information in the following days.
