Genshin Impact 2.7 is finally arriving in less than two weeks, as after a short hiatus, Hoyoverse is ready to continue bringing new content to the game.

The Genshin Impact 2.7 update will introduce two new characters. Kuki Shinobu, who is part of the Arataki Gang, and Yelan a mysterious agent working for Ningguang. We will also see the return of some other exciting characters and weapons.
Release Date
Genshin Impact 2.7 will go live on May 31, 2022, at 11 am server time (Chinese Standard Time).
This breaks down to the following release times:
- May 30, 2022, 8pm PST
- May 30, 2022, 11pm EST
- May 30, 2022, 4am GMT
New Characters Banners
The Genshin Impact 2.7 First Phase will go live on June 1, 2022, and it will last until June 22, 2022.
Latest - First Phase Banners
The first phase will include the following character banners:
- Discerner of Enigmas will feature the new character Yelan - a 5-star Hydro Bow Character.
- Invitation to Mundane Life will feature the second rerun of Xiao - a 5-star Polearm Bow Character.
Both Banners will share the following 4-star characters:
- Yanfei - 4-star Pyro, Catalyst User
- Barbara - 4-star Hydro, Catalyst User
- Noelle - 4-star Geo, Claymore User.
First Weapon Banner
The first Epitome Invocation will feature the new 5-star bow, Aqua Simulacra, and the 5-star polearm, Primordial Jade Winged-Spear.

Second Phase Banners
For the second half of Genshin Impact 2.7, arriving on June 22, 2022, running until July 13, 2022 we are receiving one rerun banner:
- Oni's Royale will feature the rerun of Arataki Itto - a 5-star Geo Claymore character.
- Along with Arataki, Kuki Shinobu a 4-star Electro Sword character is part of the third banner.
Second Weapon Banner
With the rerun of Arataki numero uno Itto, we can expect the return of the 5-star Claymore, Redhorn Stonethresher his signature Weapon.
Redhorn Stonethresher is a powerful claymore with a high ATK base, however the passive of the Redhorn is a bit niche with only a few characters getting the whole benefits, namely Itto and Noelle.
More Reruns
It seems that Kazuha and Klee will be finally back in a banner during Genshin Impact 2.8. In the same update we will have the debut of Shikanoin Heizou a 4-star Anemo character.
Heizou is expected to be the last new character before the arrival of the new Nation Sumeru.
