Genshin Impact 2.7 Barbara Farming Guide: All Ascension & Talent Materials

Barbara is in charge of the nursery for the Knights of Favonius and Mondstadt in Genshin Impact, and she'll soon return in Genshin Impact 2.7.

Barbara carries a Hydro vision, and with the help of a catalyst, can heal your entire party.

Players can obtain Barbara by completing the archon quest: A Long Shot during the Prologue Act III: Song of the Dragon and Freedom.

Barbara is a very reliable healer with efficient hydro application. With the introduction of corrosion and more hydro characters, Barbara is likely to be even more useful for players as a battery and healer.

Barbara Farming Guide

A 4-star Hydro Catalyst user, Barbara is the sister of Jean, the head of the Knight of Favonius.

Shown as a kind person, Barbara fittingly has a low damage potential, but her support abilities are perfect for beginners to keep teams safe.

Ascension Materials

These are the ascension materials you'll need for Barbara:

Cleansing Heart, character level up material, dropped by the Oceanid, Hydro boss from Liyue.

• The Oceanid is located under the waterfalls in Qingce on the north of Liyue.
• Players need 46 Cleansing Hearts for Lv. 90 Barbara.
• The Oceanid drops 2-3 of these materials once it is defeated for a cost of 40 resins, make sure of bringing some Cryo characters

Philanemo Mushrooms are a specialty of Mondstadt, a rare mushroom that grows on the walls of buildings and roofs.

• Players need 168 Philanemo Mushrooms for a Lv. 90 Barbara.
• There are around 61 Philanemo Mushrooms in the wild, refreshing every 48hrs.
• Philanemo Mushrooms can be bought with the NPC Chloris. Unfortunately, they can't be planted in the Serenitea Pot.

Samachurls are a prevalent enemy in the game. They can be found in Hillichurls camps in the three known regions in Teyvat. Once defeated, Samachurls drop several important kinds of scrolls you'll need to level up Barabara.

This includes x18 Divining Scrolls, x30 Sealed Scrolls, and x36 Forbidden Curse Scrolls, all needed to level up Barbara to Lv. 90.

Talent Materials

Scrolls are common items, but they are necessary for at least 8 characters, the three versions of the Traveler, therefore we recommend farming them constantly.

• Barbara Talents Required:
  • 18 Divining Scrolls
  • 66 Sealed Scrolls
  • 93 Forbidden Curse Scrolls

Freedom Series are talent-level books that players can obtain in the domain, Forsaken Rift on Monday, Thursday, and Sunday.

• To max Barbara's Talents, players need to collect:
  • 9 Teachings of Freedom
  • 63 Guide to Freedom
  • 114 Philosophies of Freedom

Andrius, also known as Lupus Boreas, is the Wolf spirit that guards Wolvendom on Mondstadt.

He offers himself as sparring for the traveler. Andrius is a weekly boss in the Trounce Domain, Wolf of the North Challenge.

• Andrius will drop the Ring of Boreas when defeated.
• Barbara needs 18 of these rings for max Talents.

Additionally, players need Varunada Lazurite, a common crafting material in Genshin Impact for Pyro Characters to level up Barbara to the highest level, and tons of Mora.

Varunada Lazurite is dropped by the following Normal Bosses:
