UPDATED Genshin Impact 2.4 Ganyu and Zhongli Banner COUNTDOWN

Genshin Impact 2.4 Second Phase is finally here. The brand new Character and Weapon banners are not ordinary Banners; Zhong-li and Ganyu are back.

For some players, obtaining one of these two characters take almost a year in the making. So, along with Ganyu and Zhong-Li, Amos' Bow and the Vortex Vanquisher complete the 5-star roster for this update.

Here is a countdown with everything we know about the upcoming Ganyu and Zhongli banners in Genshin Impact 2.4.

Latest - Update Live in Asia

The update has now gone live on Asian servers, so anyone playing on those can jump in.

Those of you in other parts of the world will have to continue waiting, however. Keep checking back with us for more details on the US update, in case there are any issues.

Release Time & Date

Adrift in the Harbor and Gentry of Hermitage, the third and fourth character banners in Genshin Impact 2.4, will arrive on January 25, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. server time.

For different regions, the update will arrive at the following times:

• January 25, 5:00 p.m GMT
• January 25, 6:00 p.m. EST
• January 25, 3:00 p.m. PT

Adrift in the Harbor features Ganyu, a 5-star Cryo Bow character.

Gentry of Hermitage features Zhongli, a 5-star Geo Polearm character.

Both Banners will have bigger chances to obtain one of the Following 4-star characters every ten wishes.

• Beidou, a 4-star Electro Claymore user
• Yanfei, a 4-star Pyro Catalyst User
• Xingqiu, a 4-star Hydro Sword User

At the same time, Genshin Impact is releasing the second weapon banner of the ver. 2.4 features the following weapons:

• Amos' Bow - 5-star Claymore.
  • The weapon is the signature weapon for Ganyu.
  • Great for big numbers. However, it is available in the pool of the standard banner.
• Vortex Vanquisher - 5-tar Bow.
  • A very under-whelming Polearm, definitely a very niche weapon.
  • It is not even the Bes in Spot polearm for Zhongli.

Ganyu

The last time Ganyu was part of a Genshin Impact was a little over a year ago. The half-human, half-adepti works as a bridge between the human world and the Deity realm.

Ganyu is a Damage and Crowd Control powerhouse, with a full arsenal of Cryo abilities, and is a contender for the best carry in the game.

Zhongli

The vessel of the Geo Archon, Zhongli, is the oldest being alive on Teyvat. Zhong-li's cover in the real world is being a consultant in the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor.

Zhongli's Shield and Defense Shred to every Elemental Reaction has no parallel in Genshin Impact, making the Geo Archon incredible support. As a result, players can use Zhongli in almost every team composition.
