The return of Zhongli for a third time was the biggest surprise in the Genshin Impact 2.4 reveal livestream. The last time Morax was featured in a banner was in April 2021.

Release Date
The Gentry of Hermitage banner will arrive during the second phase of Genshin Impact 2.4 on January 26, 2022.

Zhongli Farming
Zhongli is the current vessel of the Geo Archon, known as Rex Lapis or Morax. He has decided to experience the world from the perspective of a mortal.
Zhongli is a 5-star Geo Polearm User with excellent support skills. He provides the strongest shield in the game, reducing enemies' resistance to elements.
Ascension Materials
These are the ascension materials you'll need for Zhongli:
Basalt Pillar, character level up material, dropped by the Geo Hypostasis, a typical boss from Liyue.
- The Geo Hypostasis is located on an Island in Guyun Stone Forest in Liyue.
- Players need 46 Basalt Pillar for Lv. 90 Zhongli.
- The Geo Hypostasis drops 2-3 of these materials once it is defeated for a cost of 40 resins.
Cor Lapis is a specialty of Liyue, a yellow Ore that requires to be mined by Geo abilities or Claymore Users.
- Players need 168 Cor Lapis for an Lv. 90 Zhongli.
- There are around 70 Cor Lapis in the wild refreshing every 48hrs.
- You can buy Cor Lapis from NPC Changsun, in Liyue Harbor.
Slimes - A prevalent enemy in the game. The materials dropped by these creatures are used in many places.
- Players can find these enemies in the three regions; Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma
- 18 Slime Condensate, 30 Slime Secretions, and 36 Slime Concentrate are needed to level up Zhongli to Lv. 90.

Talent Materials
- Slimes are typically found near bodies of water and near trees. You will need Slime Condensate, Slime Secretions, and Slime Concentrate to level up Zhongli's Talents.
Gold Series are talent-level books that players can obtain in Taishan Mansion's domain in Jueyun Karst on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- To max Zhongli's Talents, players need to collect:
- 9 Teachings of Gold
- 63 Guide to Gold
- 114 Philosophies of Gold
The Golden House is the Mora factory and bank in Liyue. Players will face Childe Tartaglia to complete this Trounce Domain.
- Childe Tartaglia will drop the Tusk of Monoceros Caeli when defeated.
- Zhongli needs 18 of these pieces for max Talent.
Zhongli Artifacts and Weapons
The best artifact built for Zhongli is a combination of two pieces of Noblesse Oblige to increase his Elemental Burst and two pieces of Archaic Petra to increase his Geo DMG.
The best weapons for Zhongli is the Staff of Homa for extra Crit. DMG or Skyward Spine for extra Energy recharge.
Additionally, players need Prithiva Topaz, common crafting material for Geo Characters, and tons of Mora to level up Zhongli to the highest level.
