Release Date
The Out of Position promo was released on Friday, 28 October, bringing the Rulebreakers campaign to an end.
The new cards replaced Rulebreakers Team 2 in packs at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm BST, and will stay in packs for a week.
A Mini Release dropped on Sunday, 30 October at 1pm ET / 5pm GMT, adding an additional four players to packs.
The promo squad rotated out of packs on Friday, 4 November, however, more cards will be released throughout the season via SBCs, Objectives and in Packs - so keep an eye out for that!
Out of Position
The Out of Position promo was a new event to FIFA 23, with the theme being - obviously - players playing out of position!
The cards included have gained the usual rating boost, but have a new base position handed to them.
As well as the change to their base positions, they all have multiple alternate positions they can play in, with their attributes altered to better suit their new base position.
As ever, Out of Position cards were released in packs, with more coming via Objectives and SBCs.
Although the main event has now come to an end, EA announced that more OOP cards will be released throughout FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with additional ones coming via SBCs, Objectives and also Packs.
The promo showed off the possibilities of the new FUT positioning mechanic holds, and it looks like EA want to continue to shine a light on this changed aspect.
