Team of the Year has come to FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, with the Ultimate XI now in packs, which will shortly be joined by the 12th Player and TOTY Honourable Mentions cards too.

We've also been getting TOTY Flashback and TOTY Player Moments cards, and it looks like another Moments will be coming our way.

Simon Kjaer is set to receive a version of the card, so check it out and discover how to add it to your squad below.

On-field Hero

Simon Kjaer is set to be celebrated for his on-field heroics in helping Christian Eriksen when he collapsed on the pitch during Euro 2020.

Kjaer and the Danish medical team have already won the UEFA President’s Award for their handling of the event, and now a Player Moments card will also recognise his role.

We've seen leaks about the card coming for a while, and it looks set for an imminent arrival.

Simon Kjaer (OVR 90)

Start Date: TBC

Expiry Date: TBC

We're unsure of when the card will be released as an SBC, but it could come as early as Friday, 28 January.

There will already be quite a few releases happening on that day, so Sunday, 30 January may be a more likely date.

Whatever day it does come, expect to see it added at the usual time of 1pm ET / 6pm GMT.

SBC Requirements

For a card that is predicted to be rated as a 90, it shouldn't take many squads to complete and will probably be fairly cheap.

We expect three squads to submit, and a cost of around 150k.

Estimated Cost – TBC

Player Moments So Far

The Team of the Year promo has brought us many special cards, so take a look at all the Player Moments versions that have already come to the game during the event.

Gerrit Holtmann

The weekly Silver Stars player gave us another Player Moments version of a card.

Gerrit Holtmann gained a moments card thanks to "his mesmerizing run and finish vs Mainz 05".

Sergino Dest

In celebration of "his superb outside the box goal against Costa Rica in WC Qualifiers 2022", Barcelona full-back Sergino Dest was awarded a card.

He doesn't have brilliant links due to his American nationality, but his card stats are brilliant, so he's definitely worth trying to get hold of.

Daniele Verde

After seeing a couple of cards that needed to be unlocked via SBCs, EA gave us this Daniele Verde card which can be completed through objectives.

This one was in recognition of "his spectacular overhead kick vs Lazio", and provides a very nippy and skilful winger for your club.

Learn how to unlock the card here.

Lucas Paqueta

In-form Brazilian Lucas Paqueta was next up to earn a Player Moments SBC, "celebrating his superb buildup and goal against Clemont in Ligue 1".

You can find out how to unlock his card here.

Ilkay Gundogan

Manchester City's German maestro Ilkay Gundogan received a Player Moments SBC card as part of the TOTY Warmup Series event.

The 90 OVR card celebrates his two "superb inside the box goals against Spurs in 20/21 season".

You can check out his now expired card here.

FUT 21 TOTY Moments

Last year we saw three Team of the Year Moments SBC cards released during the event, with one attacker, one midfielder, and one defender.

Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez received an awesome 91 OVR card as a celebration of his ‘Goal of the Year’ strike against Mallorca.

Juventus’s silky playmaker Paulo Dybala was the midfielder included, with the Argentine CAM recognised for his insane assist against Udinese in the Coppa Italia.

Finally, German centre-back Jerome Boateng received a monstrous new card as a reward for his display against Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League.
