The Shapeshifters promo has taken over from Team of the Season in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, bringing a whole crop of brilliant new players to the game.
Player position changes are the main theme of the event, which can throw up some whacky new cards, with more arriving in Team 4.

SBC Requirements
There are two squads needed to submit to unlock the 94-rated card, with the requirements as follows:
Premier League
- Minimum one Premier League player
- Minimum 84 Squad Rating
- Minimum 65 Team Chemistry
Reward - 1 x Prime Mixed Players Pack
86-Rated Squad
- Minimum 86 Squad Rating
- Minimum 55 Team Chemistry
Reward - 1 x Jumbo Premium Gold Pack
Estimated Cost - 146.75k (PlayStation) / 152.65k (Xbox)
Shapeshifters
The Shapeshifters promo was first seen in FIFA 20, although it didn't reappear in FIFA 21, so we already knew what sort of mechanics to expect.
As always, the promo players will receive massive boosts, but they will also have their cards transformed, with changes coming to player positions, work rates, weak foot ability, and updated attributes to better suit their new position.
Four squads have now been released into packs, with a couple of objective players made available with each side, as well as a few SBCs coming throughout the campaign.
Shapeshifters had two squad releases in FIFA 20, and EA has matched and exceeded that, creating a bumper four-week event with Team 4 out now!
