Rocket League: Popular Mode Returning Through New Year

Rocket League's annual Frosty Fest wrapping up soon, it is now time to look towards 2021.

The game was recently made free to play and is currently in its second F2P season.

It was revealed on the game's official Twitter account that Heatseeker is making a return.

The mode will be available until January 4th, giving players plenty of time to play it.

Heatseeker was last in the game back in June for a single day, so its been over 6 months since players have been able to play this high action mode.

What Is Heatseeker

The Heatseeker mode sees the ball speed up every time it is hit by either the back board or a vehicle.

This means that the ball ends up going really fast, making action really fast and intense.

It also homes in on the opposing players goal, if it misses it then shoots towards the other goal.

Heatseeker replaces the popular Spike Rush mode, which has left some players disappointed.

But being able to cycle through modes definitely keeps the game fresh and exciting for players.

Frosty Fest End Date

Frosty Fest has been a staple part of the Rocket League calendar since 2017, so it came as no surprise to see a fourth instalment hit the title this year.

The winter event will be ending on January 4, the same date as when Heatseeker will once again leave the game.
