April 2021 is going to be a fantastic month for free games on Playstation, especially for PS Plus members and the lineup has finally been confirmed.
You can check out all the games you can pick up for free during April down below:
LATEST - PS Plus April Games Confirmed
Sony has now confirmed the games that will be free with PS Plus in April 2021.
Interestingly, it confirms the leaks we go over below to be correct. The games are:
- Oddworld Soulstorm (PS5)
- Days Gone (PS4)
- Zombie Army 4: Dead War (PS4)
The three games will be available to download from Tuesday, April 6 until Monday, May 3.
Could Days Gone and Zombie Army 4: Dead War be coming to PS Plus in April 2021 as the other free games?

An "active member" of the French-Langauge HotUKDeals has shared the news on the German-Language HotUKDeals that would suggest that both of these zombie games are on the way.
This should be taken with a massive grain of salt though as the leaker didn't actually share their source of information and there's no other real evidence to support this. Especially when you consider Days Gone is already on the PS Plus Collection for PS5 players!
Play At Home Games Now Available
The free Play At Home games, which we'll go into more detail on below, are now available on PS4 and PS5.
The nine games that are available at the start of April, before Horizon Zero Dawn is, are for both PS4 and PSVR, but can be played on PS5, as most PS4 games can be.
Be sure to make the most of them before the April 2021 PS Plus games are revealed and announced.
PS Plus April 2021 Start Date
Although we don't have anything specific, we're expecting the next batch of free games for PS Plus subscribers to be announced next week and go live on April 6th, 2021.
This might seem a little later than usual but April 1st is actually on Thursday and PlayStation almost never release their next month's PS Plus titles on the first day of the month.
With the PS Plus announcements coming on the last Wednesday of each month, we're not sure PlayStation would announce them and then release them the next day.

However, Sony does like to surprise us sometimes...
Confirmed Free Games
So far, we know one of the free games coming to PS Plus in April 2021.
Oddworld: Soulstorm was announced during Sony's State of Play presentation in February and it was revealed that Abe's next adventure would be a free-to-play title for PS Plus subscribers at launch!
It launches April 6th, 2021, and seemingly reaffirms our theory that the next batch of PS Plus free games will go live on April 6th, not on April 1st next week.
In addition to this, the Play At Home Initiative is back and Sony is giving away a whole load more free games for ALL PlayStation players, not just PS Plus subscribers.
We've listed those below:
- Horizon: Zero Dawn ( Starting April 19th)
- Enter The Gungeon
- Rez Infinite
- The Witness
- Astro Bot Rescue Mission (PSVR)
- Moss (PSVR)
- Thumper (PSVR)
- Paper Beast (PSVR)
All of these titles will be available from March 25th, 2021 for everyone on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 via backwards compatibility.
Predicted Free Games
We may already be getting quite a few free PlayStation games next month, but that doesn't mean that it stops there!
Each month, PS Plus subscribers get their hands on at least three titles for free. With Oddworld: Soulstorm already revealed, there are still two more free titles out there.
While we don't know for sure, we do have a few predictions of games we could see announced next week.
- No Man's Sky
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
- Metro Exodus
Of course, these choices are all guesswork but there is some method to the madness.
No Man's Sky just got its' new Companions update, Fallen Order is optimised for PS5 consoles too, and Metro Exodus is getting a next-gen upgrade soon.
