This week is going to be a ton of NBA 2K23 MyNBA reveals this week and it started with an additional announcer coming to the platform.

Mike Fratello will not only join as a color analyst for the Jordan Challenges but the MyNBA ERAs as well.

NBA 2K23 MyNBA Eras Mode

The latest game mode announced this year is the revamp of a popular one. NBA 2K23 MyNBA Eras is where you'll spend your time this year.

Courtesy of a Courtside Report, we now know that you'll traverse the best years in NBA history and can control some of the best teams in history.

The Eras begin with The Magic vs. Bird Era which has a notable spot in NBA history. The good news is you can choose any of the four NBA 2K23 MyNBA Eras to play.

Here are the four Eras available:

• The Magic vs. Bird Era
• The Jordan Era
• The Kobe Era
• The Modern Era

MyNBA Eras Explained

Although it's not a very hard game mode to understand, the features of each era change, so we want to keep you up to speed.

Through all of the NBA 2K23 MyNBA Eras, you'll see changed courts, broadcasting features, commentary and uniforms.

An era-specific filter was created to provide more immersion when playing NBA 2K23 MyNBA Eras, putting players right in the action every step of the way.

Games will resemble broadcasts from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s, depending on which era your playing in. The best players from the time frame will be there waiting for your guidance.

Best Historic Teams in MyNBA

The Magic vs. Bird Era is the earliest era in the NBA 2K23 MyNBA Eras mode, so we only need to worry about teams from the 80s.

Obviously, the Los Angeles Lakers and Boston Celtics stick out the most but there's one team from that time frame you might've forgotten.

The era begins in 1983 which means you have a year before Michael Jordan is drafted so don't forget to add him to your team.

2000's Era

• '01-'02 Sacramento Kings

You can take whichever team you like and build them from the bottom up in NBA 2K23 MyNBA Eras but these are the teams with the best rosters.

Remember, Jordan was drafted in 1984, Kobe Bryant was drafted in 1996, Dirk Nowitzki was drafted in 1998, and LeBron James was drafted in 2003.

NBA 2K23 Release Date
