NBA 2K23 Release Date & Time

Lining right up with what we expected based on recent years, the NBA 2K23 release date is now confirmed as Friday, September 9, 2022.

Thanks to new listings, we've also been able to confirm that the universal release time will be Midnight ET, or 11pm CT on Friday, September 8, 2022.

Unfortunately, we've also learned from pre order rewards that Early Access will not be available this year for any of the NBA 2K23 editions.

Also, the universal worldwide release time means that often attempted tricks like changing your platform's time zone to get in early likely will not work.

Fellow cover athletes Devin Booker, Sue Bird, and Diana Taurasi were also featured in trailers for their respective editions, but none had any gameplay footage.
