Multiversus Roster: All Playable Characters & Classes.

With Warner Bros' IP-hopping fighting game Multiversus expected to arrive later in 2022, fans are clamouring to know which of their favourite characters will they be able to play come to its release.

We got a special early look at the Multiversus closed beta on both PC and PS5 and were able to play with most of the roster that's currently available. Here is everyone confirmed so far and their classes.

What Characters Are On the Multiversus Roster?

The Multiversus roster as of the closed beta has characters from Adventure Time, DC Comics, Game of Thrones, Looney Tunes, Scooby-Doo & Stephen Universe all currently playable with some still in an experimental stage.

A recently released cinematic trailer for the game also announced that The Iron Giant would be joining the Multiversus roster of characters in time for its open beta in the summer but was not available for this closed beta.

The multiversus roster currently consists of five classes spread across the 15 playable characters. These classes are Assassin, Bruiser, Mage, Support and Tank. Here is every character ordered by their class.

Character Class - Assassin

Built around their speed and agility, Assassins are designed to be able to get up close and personal with their opponents to chip away at them quickly.

The characters in the assassin class are:

• Arya Stark (Game of Thrones)
• Harley Quinn (DC Comics)
• Finn the Human (Adventure Time)

Character Class - Bruiser

Bruisers act as your main damager dealers on the Multiversus roster. These characters excel at being aggressive and dealing a lot of damage to try and knock characters out of bounds faster.

The characters in the bruiser class are:

• Batman (DC Comics)
• Garnet (Stephen Universe)
• Jake the Dog (Adventure Time)
• Shaggy (Scooby-Doo)
• Tasmanian Devil (Looney Tunes)

Character Class - Mage

the Multiversus roster's Mages are all about their ranged attacking prowess and zone control with a variety of tools to hit foes from afar and keep them there.

The characters in the mage class are:

• Bugs Bunny (Looney Tunes)
• Tom & Jerry (Tom & Jerry)

Character Class - Support

Support characters, as their names suggests, are less invovled with the action and are more based around assisting their teammate in battle by buffing/assisting them or debuffing their opponents.

The characters in the support class are:

• Reindog (Multiversus)
• Steven Universe (Steven Universe)
• Velma (Scooby-Doo)

Character Class - Tank

Built to take hits and then take some more, tanks are your defence and survivability specialists who are slower in the fight but can still pack a punch when called upon.

The characters in the tank class are:

• Superman (DC Comics)
• The Iron Giant* (The Iron Giant)
• Wonder Woman (DC Comics)

*The Iron Giant is not in the game currently*
