LET'S GO: The countdown to Madden 22 is on

EA Sports has been releasing Madden games every August for going on two decades now, and this year will be no different as they've not allowed any delays to interfere with their usual window.

This will also be the first year we see next gen versions land along with the worldwide launch, as Madden 21 didn't arrive on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S until nearly four months later due to the release timing of the consoles themselves.

UNDER PRESSURE: Can Madden 22 live up to the next-gen promises?

There was plenty of promise, but Madden 21 launched on PS5 as relatively the same game that had launched a few months prior on PS4. There was a visual change to the play-calling in games, some updated graphics, and the minor addition of Next Gen Stats during replays.

EA Sports has promised upgrades to Franchise Mode and they definitely delivered. One way they're bringing some new blood to the game mode is with the addition of Franchise Staff. This gives you the ability to upgrade your staff via "Talent Trees".

They even added a more robust scouting feature. The great news is if you don't want to use the new scouting feature, you can bypass it.

These upgrades being brought to Franchise Mode are getting everyone excited for the release date.
