Usually, each year, you can expect a few updates to be brought to a game mode. However, Madden 22 is bringing BIG features and updates to the popular MUT mode.

One of the most notable addition is the statistics on items in Madden Ultimate Team. This gives you the ability to track the statistics on each unique player item.

Dual Entitlement for MVP Edition & Dynasty Edition

In case you're confused by what all comes with Dual Entitlement, that specific bonus is directly tied to the transition from current gen consoles to next gen and players who upgrade their console after getting Madden 22.

With Dual Entitlement, you'll receive both the current gen version of the game for Xbox One or PS4 and a digital code for the title on its next gen counterpart, either PS5 or Xbox Series X|S.

On top of that, your progress in The Yard and Face of the Franchise will transfer to next gen, as well as Ultimate Team with the exception of competitive progress for things like Weekend League, but Franchise Mode progress will not carry over.

Price

The Standard Edition costs $59.99 / £59.99 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and is $69.99 / £69.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The MVP Edition includes both current and Next Gen versions and is priced at $99.99 / £89.99, just like the Dynasty Edition - costing $119.99 / £109.99.

The official Madden 22 release date is Friday, August 20, 2021.

This lines right up with the timing we expected based on the last several Madden release dates.

HE'S BACK: Patrick Mahomes returns to front up Madden 22

EA Sports is also planning to release an EA Play Trial for Madden 22 on Thursday, August 12, 2021, which should give players a limited experience to try the game if they're EA Play subscribers.

However, you can get early access to the full title on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 if you pre order the MVP Edition or Dynasty Edition of Madden 22.
