It took longer than some people thought it should have, but Madden 21 is finally making a much-needed ratings change.

Wilson has been incredible this year. The Seahawks have made a concerted effort to let Russ cook this season and it has paid dividends.
Five games into the 2020 season Wilson has 1,502 passing yards and a massive 19 touchdowns to just three interceptions.
So it's only fair that he's gone up to 99 OVR.
New ratings
The Week 5 Roster Update is not out just yet, so we don't know exactly which stats will be getting a boost to take Wilson from his current 98 OVR up to the max 99 OVR.

His awareness is likely to get a +1 to the max score, and his throw power (91) should see a boost too. His accuracies (95, 95, 96) could all get a +1 as well.
What about MUT?
This ratings change is only going to impact off-line modes such as Franchise Mode and exhibition games.
However, it could also mean that Wilson will be included as a Master in an upcoming MUT promo.
With Halloween just around the corner, we expect to hear about Most Feared soon.
Making Wilson a LTD or Master for that promo would certainly get players excited.
