Genshin Impact's Cor Lapis is a rare mineral found in the Liyue region of Teyvat and used to craft multiple items as well as ascend several characters.
While players can purchase up to 5 Cor Lapis every few days, it is much easier to mine large amounts of the mineral every two days.
What Is Cor Lapis?
Cor Lapis is found within the Liyue region, inside caves, mines, and near mountainous terrain.
It has several crafting uses:
- Unmoving Essential Oil
- Dustproof Potion
- Geoculus Resonance Stone
- Geo Treasure Compass
- Yellow Dye
They can also be used for the Character Ascension of:

Where To Find Cor Lapis?
Teyvat has grown since the release of Genshin Impact, though Cor Lapis is still only found around the west and central part of the map, all in the Liyue region.
There are many locations for it to be found, so you will likely naturally come across quite a lot of it.
But here is a map showing where to find it, courtesy of Genshin Impact Interactive Map.
The 2.0 update will launch on July 21, 2021, and will feature many changes to Genshin Impact.
The update will include the Inazuma region of Teyvat, home of the Raiden Shogun, Baal, the Electro Archon.
Three new characters are also joining the playable roster:
- Ayaka (5-Star Cryo Sword)
- Yoimiya (5-Star Pyro Bow)
- Sayu (4-Star Anemo Claymore)
There is no reason to believe any more Cor Lapis will become available in the new region.
