Genshin Impact 2.4 will bring a new 5-star Cryo character, Shenhe. From a family of exorcists, she lives with Liyue Adeptus as the disciple of the Cloud Retainer.
Shenhe is a Polearm user who combines Physical Melee DMG and mid-range Cryo abilities. Recent data mining has revealed her abilities and constellations. Here are all the details.
Release Time and Schedule
Shenhe will arrive in the first banner of the Genshin Impact 2.4 update on January 5, 2021.
- The server's maintenance will be around five hours.

Shenhe Abilities
Normal Attacks
Shenhe's Dawnstar Shooter is a combination of five attacks with a final circular blow.

Elemental attack - Spring Spirit Summoning
Grants all party members the Icy Quill effect and deals Cryo DMG depending if you press or hold the Elemental Skill.

- Particles Generated - Press: 3 Particles / Hold: 4 Particles

| Conditions | Holding rather than Pressing generates more Stacks and prolong Icy Quill duration. When a Cryo DMG instances hit multiple enemies. Stacks will be consumed based in the number of opponents hit. The Icy Quill effect and Stacks are counted independently for every party member. |
Elemental Burst - Divine's Maiden Deliverance
Shenhe Cryo DMG comes from a Talisman Spirit. Her Elemental Burst is an AoE DMG attack that produces constant Cryo reactions. Based on Shehe's Elemental Burst, we believe she will have a sub DPS - Support role.

- Gains 25% more rewards when dispatched on a Liyue Expedition that takes longer than 20 hours.
Deific Embrace (Lv. 20)
- An active character within the field created by Divine Maiden's Deliverance gains a 15% Cryo DMG Bonus.
Spirit Communion Seal (Lv. 60)
- After Shenhe uses Spring Spirit Summoning, she will grant all nearby party members the following effects.
- Press: Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst DMG increased by 15% percent for 10s
- Hold: Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attack damage increased by 15% for 15s.
Shenhe Constellations
Shenhe Constellations are focused on increasing the DMG and the duration of the Icy Quill buff. Shenhe C2 seems quite powerful, extending her Elemental Burst duration by 6s.
