Genshin Impact 3.1: How to Complete the Challenger VI Series guide.

Genshin Impact 3.1 and Sumeru introduce a new group of World Bosses, which players must constantly battle to obtain ascension materials. Therefore, we also have a new chapter of the Challenger Achievements.

The Challenger Series VI is eight combat challenges travelers can achieve by fighting against the new 4 Bosses. However, they can be tricky to obtain.

We have a quick guide to help players to complete the Challenger Series VI and obtain Primogems and the Special Name Card.

Challenger Series VI Guide

Before starting, locate the four new bosses in Genshin Impact. Luckily, icons on the map show their location.

• Electro Regisvine (Mawtimiya Forest)
• Jadeplume Terrorshroom (Vanarana Forest)
• Aeonblight Drake (Devantaka Mountain)
• Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network (King Deshret Mausoleum).

Note: All enemies are underground, in caves, except for the Matrix Overseer, which is in the ruins of Sumeru's Desert.

For this guide, we will list the achievements based on the enemy, so you can try to obtain them all in one go.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom

The mushroom that evolved into a creature that resembles a dinosaur and a peacock will grant two achievements.

• I can't take it Anymore.
  • Defeat the Jadeplaum Terrorshroom after its activation state is finished.
  • For this challenge, you need an Electro Character in your party
    • The Electro DMG will make the Jadeplume enter the activated state.
  • Once it is over, Jadeplume will fall exhausted and be an easy target.

• The Smell of Grilled Mushroom in the Morning
  • In a single challenge, defeat 6 Fungi produced by Jadeplume Terrorshroom in a Burning state.
  • For this challenge, you need to attack the Jadeplume with Pyro. Once us burning, it will throw three eggs that may contain Floating Fungi.
  • Defeat at least 6 Fungi and obtain the achievement.

Aeonblight Drake

The latest abyss automaton is giant but perhaps the easiest new Boss in Sumeru. To complete this challenge, make sure to bring your best bow character.

• Dragonslayer
  • Bring the Aeonblight Drake down in a single challenge by attacking the cores on its wings.
  • Once it is in the air, throw an arrow to the thrusters in the wings, this will bring the Drake down.
• Victory is a mindset.
  • In a single challenge, interrupt the energy flow of the Aeonblight Drake by attacking the core on its head.
  • Like other Automatons in Genshin Impact, the core in the face is the weakest point.
    • Aim an arrow in the center to complete this challenge.
• Resistance is Futile
  • Defeat an Aeonblight Drake that has increased resistance to at least two different elements.
  • This challenge is a bit harder, bringing characters of two different elements with long-range abilities.

• The Aeonblight Drake will absorb an element and increase its resistance.
  • There will be a screen indicator when this happens. In addition, the lights near the core will change color as well.
• Make sure to attack with another element before the effect is over.

NOTE: Hitting the core in the face or wings will reset the Drake, so you must start over.

Electro Regisvine

We are familiar with Regisvine and know they are susceptible to Elements opposite to them. Therefore, bringing Cryo characters will help.

• The Mad Flower at the End of the Road
  • When the Electro Regisvine emits a beam of Thunderous Light, it paralyzes it by attacking its corolla.
  • We recommend lowering the Shield of the Corolla (the head) as much as possible and waiting for the laser beam attack.

Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matrix of Overseer Network

The Boss with the longest name in Genshin Impact is the latest addition to the game. For purposes of this guide, we will call him just Matrix Overseer.

• Daisy, Daisy
  • Break the Algorithm of the Matrix of Overseer by hitting its cores with Quicken, Aggravate, or Spread reactions.
  • When the Matrix enters invisibility mode, it hits a Dendro Seed to attack its core.
  • How to find the core? Yae Miko Elemental skill will find it easy. Fischl also can get it but not as easy.
• System Shock
  • Hitting the Matrix Overseer core will paralyze it. Leaving the Matrix exposed to attack.
  • Make sure to defeat it before its system is back, and you will complete the Challenger Series.
