Fortnite Season 3 Week 5 Quest Guide
The following is a breakdown of the Fortnite Season 3, Week 5 quests along with some tips on how to beat them. Where specific information is needed, we will update the piece once the quests are live. Every Fortnite Season 3 quest will be worth 15,000 XP.
Destroy Giant Mushrooms With The Ripsaw Launcher 0/8
This first quest, while simple in what it's asking, may still take some time to achieve. The best place to get Ripsaw Launchers is still the Chop Shop which is quite the distance from where a majority of the big mushrooms are, meaning that unless you get lucky and find one nearby, a lot of travelling through hotspots will be required.
Deal DMR Damage to Opponents From Above 0/500
Depending on your view and skill with the DMR, this quest is either going to be your best friend or worst enemy as landing hits with the rifle can prove to be quite tricky. This quest is best suited for late games with high vantage points, limiting the distance between you and your opponents to make aiming easier.
Collect Floating Rings Near Reality Falls 0/5
This is a quest that might best be used on the standard Fortnite playlist as it could require the use of building to finish up properly. Floating rings are found in the air and are often hard to reach without the ability to build so no-build fans may have to delay this one
Deal Damage to Opponents Within 10 Meters With The Charge SMG 0/500
The newest weapon to be added to Fortnite in Season 3, the Charged SMG is a replacement for the Combat SMG, the Charged SMG can be found in chests across all playlists. Find one then focus on close-up encounters to maximise damage.
Collect a Port-a-Fort and a Ripsaw Launcher in a Single Match 0/2
Another quest built for players who don't stick to the popular no-build mode, the port-a-fort has returned to the game with the 21.20 update, letting players build a structure with a simple throw.
Visit Reality Falls, Tilted Towers and Shuffled Shrines 0/3
Rounding off the Week 5 Quests with a nice and simple 15,000XP for players, just visit the three locations across a variety of games and you're getting some easy levels on your Battle Pass.
