We are truly being spoiled this month when it comes to content in Fortnite. The Cammy Cup only just finished and we already have the Gamora Cup to look forward to. This on top of the Rift Tour, Suicide Squad and Street Fighter collaborations has to lead to an insane second half of Season 7.
Here's how you can get involved in the Gamora Cup.
Gamora Cup Start Time
The Gamora Cup will take place on Wednesday, 11 August and its three-hour timeslot is between 18:00 - 21:00 BST. Check the events tab to see when the Gamora Cup starts in your local timezone.
During this three-hour window, you can play up to 10 matches of Fortnite to earn as many points as possible. The more points you score, the better your chances of winning the Gamora skin is. The Gamora Cup will be duos format so be sure to grab a friend who is at least competent at Fortnite to help you out.
How to register for the Gamora Cup
Registering for the Gamora Cup is simple. You will need your Epic account to be at least level 30 (this can be seen in the account tab) and have two-factor authentication set up. If you meet both of these criteria then you can enter.
When the Gamora Cup is live, you can just join the playlist from the game modes section in the lobby. If for whatever reason, your account is not eligible, then the playlist will be locked away and the reason for why will be displayed on the screen.
If at the end of the tournament you and your partner have accrued enough points to win the Gamora skin then it will be placed in your account in the hours following the conclusion of the Gamora Cup.
