Competitive play in Fortnite doesn't get much bigger than the FNCS, but if you're not quite part of the pro scene, there is always the Dreamhack Open events!

Dreamhack Winter is just around the corner and we've brought together all the info you could possibly need. Here's when the Fortnite Dreamhack Open starts, the prize pool and how you can enter!

Fortnite Dreamhack Open Date & Start Time

The Fortnite Dreamhack Open for Winter 2022 starts on Friday, 25 November and runs until Sunday, 27 November. The heats will take place at 15:00 CET & 17:00 CET on Friday as well as 10:00 and 15:00 CET on Saturday.

The final of the Fortnite Dreamhack Open will take place at 11:00 CET on Sunday. Times for the event are all in Central European Time as Dreamhack Winter takes place at the Elmia in Jönköping, Sweden.

Prize Pool & How to Enter

First things first, if you're looking to enter the Fortnite Dreamhack Open, you'll have to get yourself to Sweden! Entry is open to everyone but you must have a LAN ticket to the Dreamhack event.

You cannot enter the Fortnite Dreamhack Open multiple times as you need to register your entry using the event ticket you purchased. Filling in an online form prevents multiple entries from taking place so make the most of your time in-game!

As for the prize pool, there is $100,000 on offer in total across 100 places in the final. The top prize is $12,000 and will be awarded to the winner of the final.

Second place will take home $6,000 and $5,500 awaits third place. Prizes for the top ten decrease steadily but you're still looking at $2,800 minimum for making the top ten.

Even just for making the finals, you're guaranteed $200 which is on offer for those who finish in positions 76-100.
