RealSport101 FIFA Advent Calendar - Day 19

As the countdown to Christmas continues, we're taking a look back at some of our favourite players from previous FIFA titles every single day.

The latest player in our advent calendar series may have gone under the radar a little but was one of FIFA's classic overpowered Silvers.

RealSport101 Advent Calendar - Day 19

We're continuing this Ultimate Team throwback series with an understated central midfielder who dominated everything in the middle of the park.

He's Turkish, he's powerful and he's got a quite beautiful afro to go with it.

Salih Ucan - FIFA 15

The man in question is former AS Roma midfielder Salih Ucan.

Those of you who didn't have the pleasure of using Ucan's FIFA 15 card may be confused as to how he has made the advent calendar series.

When looking at the Turk's stats, he looks average at best. However, trust me when I say this guy played like Ruud Gullit in-game.

SILVER BEAST - This Ucan card was incredible

The rangy box-to-box CM glided around the field with elegance and grace, offering everything you could ask for from your engine room.

Ucan was equally brilliant at breaking up the opposition's play as he was at driving with the ball and making things happen in the final third.

There's no doubt this guy is one of the most overpowered Silver cards FUT has ever seen.

Where is Ucan now?

Salih Ucan, now 28 years of age, currently plays for Turkish giants Besiktas, having signed for the club back in the summer of 2021.

Since making his debut for Turkish club Bucaspor in 2011, Ucan has played the majority of his career in his home country as well as in Italy.

TURKISH DELIGHT - Turkey has produced some quality players down the years

The centre-mid made his official Roma debut in a 3-0 victory against Chievo back in October 2014 but after an extended loan period returned to his former club Fenerbahce in 2016.

Ucan's key achievements include winning the Turkish Spor Toto Super Lig in 2014, the Turkish Cup in 1013 and the Turkish Super Cup in 2022.
