The World Cup promos keep coming in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with World Cup Stories taking over from the Road to the World Cup event.
As well as the main squad coming to packs, more World Cup Icons have landed too!

World Cup Stories Release Date
The World Cup Stories promo was released on Friday, 2 December, at the usual time of 2pm ET / 6pm GMT.
Team 2 of the World Cup Icons was added to packs at the same time, giving us plenty of special cards to get our hands on!
A Mini-Release of WC Stories players came on Sunday, 4 December.
The event will run for one week only, with the World Cup Phenoms promo set to replace it on Friday, 9 December.
World Cup Stories
World Cup Stories is a new event in Ultimate Team, with the official word on the promo being summed up a Tweet from EA:
From starring at their country's first #FIFAWorldCup in over 30 years to scoring the winner in a stunning upset, FIFA World Cup Stories recognise headline contributions on the world’s biggest stage.
As well as the new World Cup Stories cards being added to packs, more will be released via Objectives and SBCs, as is usual during promos.
More World Cup Icons dropped too, with Team 2 following on from the initial release.
The WC Swaps campaign will continue, with additional Tokens able to be earned throughout the event.

World Cup Icons
A new loading screen officially confirmed that Team 2 of the World Cup Icons would be dropping at the same time as the WC Stories promo and now they are here!
Although not as powerful as the players included in Team 1, there are still some top stars to get your hands on - including Roberto Carlos.
