FIFA 23 OTW: How do 'Nations to Watch' upgrades work in Ultimate Team?

Ultimate Team fanatics are getting stuck into the game mode now, with the Web App having gone live before the full version hits the shelves.

This year, in alignment with the 2022 Qatar World Cup, there will be a new dynamic to the Ones to Watch (OTW) upgrades called 'Nations to Watch'.

'Nations to Watch' Explained

OTW items in FUT 23 will not only be eligible for a 'Wins to Watch' upgrade, but also a 'Nations to Watch' upgrade too.

The Nations to Watch upgrade will see players receive an upgrade if their nation wins a match during the World Cup.

This upgrade is available to players regardless of whether they are selected for their national team.

For example, if Gabriel Jesus is left out of the 2022 World Cup squad, but Brazil goes and wins a match, Jesus' Ones to Watch card will still be given a boost.
