How do 'Out of Position' cards work in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team?

EA continues to roll out awesome promotional content in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.

The Rulebreakers campaign is in full flow now, following on from the Road to the Knockouts (RTTK) promo that saw some brilliant dynamic items introduced to FUT 23.

According to multiple reports, a brand new 'Out of Position' promo will be hitting Ultimate Team after the Rulebreakers Team 2 squad.

So, find out how the new items will actually work in FUT 23 below.

How do 'Out of Position' cards work?

Unfortunately, all we can do is speculate at the moment, as we've had little official information on the new event.

We believe that the promo will pretty much do what it says on the tin - move players out of their traditional position.

So, you can expect to see some crazy position changes on certain players' Out of Position special items.

Of course, EA will need to support these cards by boosting specific stats accordingly.

For example, if a centre-back is moved to a striker, they will receive a giant shooting boost, as well as increases in their dribbling and passing.

Out of Position items will likely receive one original boost and are not eligible for future upgrades (not dynamic items).

FUT 23 Promo Schedule

The upcoming FIFA 23 Ultimate Team promo schedule is as follows:

• Friday, 21 October - Rulebreakers Team 2 released into packs.
• Friday, 27 October - Out of Position promo begins (TBC).
• Friday, 3 November - Adidas Numbers Up promo begins (TBC).
• Friday, 10 November - Adidas World Cup promo begins (TBC).
