FIFA 23: EA Sports announce HEROIC collaboration with Marvel Entertainment

FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with a host of exciting new features showcased in recent reveals.

The most recent reveal from EA Sports has got us all excited, with a unique collaboration announced with Marvel Entertainment.

EA and Marvel Entertainment have announced a collaboration to bring a new cast of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes to FIFA 23, reimagined and inspired by Marvel Comics.

This collaboration between two of the world’s largest entertainment brands will bring some of the game’s fan favourites to the game and celebrate their larger-than-life cult hero status alongside the amazing artists at Marvel

Each FIFA World Cup FUT Hero will receive a special illustrated FUT item at the launch of the World Cup game mode, with base versions of FUT Heroes being available at the launch of FIFA 23.

Stars like Yaya Toure, Landon Donovan and Ricardo Carvalho have all received special illustrated cards, with more set to be revealed soon.

Unique Items

The collaboration will include other vanity items related to the fan favourite heroes such as tifos, kits and balls.

Fans will also be able to get their hands on a forthcoming online Marvel Heroes comic book alongside Marvel-written bios, with limited physical quantities to be made available at a later date.

Players who pre-order the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition by August 21st will also receive a limited-time FIFA World Cup™ Hero Item.

This brand new collaboration is the start of a bright future, as EA look to expand and push FIFA into brand new markets.
