The Premier League introduced its Hall of Fame last season, inducting eight players across 2021, with all eight players current Icon players in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
The likes of Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard, and Alan Shearer have all been inducted, but now a further two players have been added to the growing list of legends.

Our first inductees of 2022 were announced on Wednesday, 23 March at 8am GMT, with both players richly deserving of the accolade.
First of 2022
The Premier League has announced two more inductees to its Hall of Fame, and again both players are already Icons in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team!
Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney joins former Arsenal enforcer Patrick Vieira as the new Hall of Famers in the first induction of the year.
The Premier League official Tweet read "Two players who combined talent and work-rate to become Premier League legends," and we couldn't agree more!
Both players were fierce competitors on the pitch as well as being excellent players, and they are both men you would want in your side.
Patrick Vieira
A key man in the Arsenal invincibles side, Patrick Vieira led Arsene Wenger's successful Gunners to three Premier League titles.
Vieira made over 300 Premier League appearances, scoring 31 times and assisting 31 more.
As mentioned above the Frenchman was ferocious in midfield, and his eight red cards are testament to his competitive nature.
With a World Cup and Euros winners medal, five Serie A's, the Champions League all on his CV, Vieira is a true legend of the game.
Wayne Rooney
Wayne Rooney burst onto the scene as a teenager with Everton, scoring a screamer against Arsenal and truly announcing himself to the Premier League.
After joining Manchester United, Rooney went on to score 208 Premier League goals, and claim five Premier League titles too.
Rooney also won the Champions League, Europa League, FA Cup, and League Cup four times during his time with United.
If those credentials are not enough to convince you, Rooney is also England's record goalscorer with 53, although Harry Kane is not far behind!
New card concept
What do the new Hall of Famers mean for FIFA Ultimate Team? Well, for now, it means nothing.
However, we would love to see a new one-off card design for any player officially inducted into the Premier League's Hall of Fame.
Imagine how great a mega-boosted card for each of the Hall of Famers would be.
Whether these were unlockable via SBC or Objectives or just thrown into packs, we don't care!
