Love busting out skill moves in FIFA 21?
Well, it looks as if there will be an additional four to master in FIFA 22.
Four new FIFA 22 Skill Moves
As revealed by @FUTWeeklyPod - the four new FIFA 22 skill moves are:
- Skilled Bridge (four-star)
- Four Touch Skill (four-star)
- First Time Spin (five-star)
- Scoop Turn Fake (five star)
The reaction to this has been how surprisingly easy - and perhaps damaging - they could be.
Skilled Bridge
Hold L2/LT + Tap R1/RB x2
The Bridge Skill became more usable last year, and it remains to be seen if the "skilled" version, in which the player uses their heel to knock the ball past the defender, will have the same level of success.
Four Touch Skill
Hold L2/LT + Flick RS back x2
The Three Touch Roulette is a great move to hold the ball up or wriggle away from a defender who is too tight, and we imagine that the four touch version will be similar.
@FUTWeeklyBen does remark that this is a long skill move, so perhaps cancelling it could be the way to get away from your marker.
First Time Spin
Hold L1/LB + R1/RB as player receives the ball
The key is here is that you will be able to pick the exit angle - setting up a shot, cross or pass to a teammate.
Scoop Turn Fake
Hold LS in opposite direction after scoop turn (LS + ▢/X then X/A)
Perhaps the potential to be the most damaging, with the scoop turn just a fake shot or cross for players with higher skill moves.
Expect the Scoop Turn Fake to rip defences apart in the first few weeks of FIFA 22.
