FIFA 21 TOTY & MOTM cards on the way!

We are in the midst of the Team of the Year (TOTY) event, but it looks like we are about to have more cards added to the promo!

Two new card types have surfaced in the database, so get set for more special cards in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.

Team of the Year

The full Team of the Year XI is available in packs now.

If you don't know who was selected in this year's squad, then check out all the great new cards here.

Currently, the most expensive TOTY card is 98-rated Cristiano Ronaldo who will cost you a shade under 9 million coins on the FUT transfer market!

Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is the cheapest TOTY card going at around 550k, while Trent Alexander-Arnold is the most affordable outfield player at just over 1 million coins.

12th Man

While the starting XI players are now available in packs, the final piece of the jigsaw is yet to fall into place.

The TOTY 12th man is set to arrive on Friday, 29 January, completing the set of high-rated players.

There are three players in contention for the final TOTY spot, with Heung-Min Son, Thiago and Lionel Messi available to vote for.

TOTY Nominees

In seasons gone by we have seen all the players nominated for TOTY receive new special cards with small rating boosts.

We are yet to see this on FIFA 21 Ultimate Team, but it looks as though they could be on the way!

Verified Twitter account @FutWatch shared the above image, suggesting that two new card types are coming soon.

MOTM Cards

The TOTY nominee cards are not the only new ones though, as Man of the Match (MOTM) cards look to be returning.

Similar to Hero cards, these players will join in the Team of the Week squads and are usually dished out for excellent performances in cup matches.
