Predictions
Here's who we think will make up the final 11 for the TOTY!
Manuel Neuer (OVR 97)
Bayern’s Manuel Neuer could be a new face in TOTY, and we think he has a great chance of making the XI!
Liverpool keeper Alisson was selected in FIFPro’s World XI earlier this month, so the competition is fierce for a spot in goal.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (OVR 96)
There are unlikely to be any surprises at right back with Trent Alexander-Arnold the standout candidate.
TAA is head and shoulders above the rest at the moment, so we don't see anyone dislodging him from the starting slot.
Virgil van Dijk (OVR 98)
Injury late in 2020 may stop Virgil van Dijk from back to back 99 cards.
Another excellent year will surely see VVD in the team though.
Sergio Ramos (OVR 97)
At centre back, you can’t argue with Sergio Ramos alongside van Dijk.
David Alaba, Chelsea’s summer signing Thiago Silva and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly are probably the next in line, but we think this one is done and dusted.
Alphonso Davies (OVR 94)
Left back will be interesting, and we could see a new winner take the place of Andrew Robertson. Step forward Alphonso Davies.
Anyone for 99 Pace?
Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 98)
Kevin De Bruyne simply must be in the TOTY. He is the best midfielder in world football right now.
City's superstar will almost definitely boast incredible shooting, passing and dribbling attributes.
Joshua Kimmich (OVR 97)
Bayern’s Joshua Kimmich is an almost certainty too, leaving one midfield spot up for grabs.
Kimmich is a key man in Bayern's midfield and will be crucial to Germany's success on the international stage.
Bruno Fernandes (OVR 97)
Liverpool star Thiago made it into FIFPro’s World XI, but we think that Bruno Fernandes could make the TOTY on FIFA 21.
The Manchester United talisman has established himself as one of the Premier League’s top players since his arrival and would be deserving of the award.
Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 99)
Selecting forwards for TOTY is arguably the trickiest with so many top players enjoying an excellent 2020.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been scoring for fun in Italy this year, but he might not get the 99 OVR card we have seen in the past...
Robert Lewandowski (OVR 99)
Could Bayern's lethal striker replace CR7 in the 99 club?
Robert Lewandowski has the most goals in 2020 with 40, closely followed by Cristiano Ronaldo with 39!
Lionel Messi (OVR 99)
Lionel Messi is eighth on the list of goal scorers this year but has a total of 48 goal involvements in just 41 games!
We think it will be these three selected in TOTY. However, there are so many great forwards who will challenge for the coveted special cards!

Release Date
Voting for the TOTY closes for the TOTY on Monday, 18 January.
Therefore, we expect the TOTY to be released on Friday, 22 January.
12th Man
There is usually a community vote for the 12th man, so we expect that to continue on FIFA 21.
There are plenty of top class players to throw into the mix, but surely Kylian Mbappe will be the favourite for this one!
PSG teammate Neymar Jr. and Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Erling Haaland are also likely to be in the mix.
