Neymar allegedly confirmed in Ligue 1 Team of the Season squad

The French league Team of the Season (TOTS) squad is set to be released in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team this evening.

With the Ligue 1 cards now confirmed to be on the way, we can start to get excited about the upcoming Ultimate TOTS.

Release Date

The Team of the Season (TOTS) event continues this week with the Ligue 1 team now confirmed to be arriving in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team on Friday, 28 May.

The Ligue 1 TOTS content will replace the Serie A cards at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

Alongside the set of 15 players that will be available in packs, we are expecting a host of new SBC and objective cards to be added too.

The Ligue 1 stars will not be the only TOTS cards in packs though, with the Eredivisie and Chinese Super League players available until Monday.

Ligue 1 TOTS Predictions

Unsurprisingly, Kylian Mbappe leads our predicted Ligue 1 Team of the Season squad.

The top scorer in the French league will certainly be included, but the selection of his teammate and Brazilian superstar Neymar is in doubt.

Champions Lille should also be heavily represented in the squad and the FUT Community would love to see a new Renato Sanches card.

Neymar Jr. "confirmed"

According to one source, Neymar Jr. will in fact feature in the Ligue 1 Team of the Season squad despite an indifferent campaign blighted by injuries and suspensions.

Instagram source @fut.investments shared the "leak" on their page, with the alleged rating too!

The new card will allegedly have a rating of 94 OVR, some way off other superstars like Lionel Messi, Robert Lewandowski, and Cristiano Ronaldo's 98 OVR cards.

While his potential appearance in Team of the Season continues his run of appearances in the event, this will be the lowest-rated TOTS card he has received ever.
