FIFA 21's Team of the Season (TOTS) promo is going down a hit so far with three of the major league squads hitting packs.
With three of the five major leagues revealed, there is not long now to wait until the Ligue 1 squad release.
Read on to find out the latest TOTS news, along with our French Ligue 1 predictions.
Latest news - Liga NOS arriving later
After the Bundesliga TOTS dropped last Friday in FUT, EA is dropping a secondary league TOTS this week, to join the German league players in packs.
We believe that the next TOTS league to arrive in FUT will be the Portuguese Liga NOS squad.
There is a chance that the Eredivisie or CSL TOTS squads could drop before.
The Team of the Season promo commenced on Friday, 23 April with the arrival of two squads, The English Football League (EFL) and the Community squad.
Each release so far has been at 1pm ET / 6pm BST like all FUT promos.
The Bundesliga team arrived on Friday, 14 May, following on from La Liga.
This means we won't see the Ligue 1 squad until Friday, 21 May at the earliest, and even then it is not guaranteed.
Ligue 1 Predictions
The following stars have excelled throughout the season and deserve a place in the TOTS event.
Mike Maignan (OVR 93)
Ligue 1 leaders Lille currently have the best defensive record in France, and keeper Mike Maignan has kept 19 clean sheets.
With shutouts in over half of his games this season, Maignan is our pick for TOTS.
Zeki Celik (OVR 91)
Zeki Celik’s attacking stats might not catch the eye, but his consistency as part of the best defence in the league cannot be underestimated.
Celik is a powerful runner and could be an excellent right-back as part of the Ligue 1 TOTS squad.
Jose Fonte (OVR 92)
The experienced head in Lille’s backline, Jose Fonte appears to be going from strength to strength in France.
Fonte will be heading to the Euros this summer with Portugal, highlighting the consistency of his performances for Lille.
Marquinhos (OVR 95)
Brazilian defender Marquinhos has stepped into the void left by Thiago Silva in the summer.
Playing mostly in defence but occasionally in a holding midfield role, Marquinhos has shown maturity in his game this season.
Florian Thauvin (OVR 93)
There is some serious competition for places in the wing this season, but we are opting for Florian Thauvin on the right side.
The former Newcastle star is nearly in double figures for both goals and assists this season so he makes our team.
Teji Savanier (OVR 92)
Montpellier have had an indifferent season in Ligue 1, but their form since February has been excellent.
Teji Savanier has been a key man in their side contributing both goals and assists and could edge out some higher-profile stars to make this year's squad.
Gael Kakuta (OVR 90)
Gael Kakuta could be one of the lesser-known stars to feature in the TOTS event.
The RC Lens attacking midfielder has 15 goal involvements this season and could be a new French CAM option.
Karl Toko-Ekambi (OVR 91)
The goal-scoring burden at Lyon has not rested solely on Memphis Depay’s shoulders this season as Karl Toko Ekambi has hit double figures already.
The Cameroonian forward has operated predominantly from the left and could offer an exciting new LW option.
Memphis Depay (OVR 94)
Lyon’s versatile forward Memphis Depay could be heading for pastures new in the summer after another terrific season in Ligue 1.
Depay has a total of 16 goals and nine assists so far this season and is a strong contender for a place in Team of the Season.
Wissam Ben Yedder (OVR 93)
Monaco captain Wissam Ben Yedder has enjoyed another fruitful season in Ligue 1.
With 19 goals currently to his name, the French striker has beaten his tally of 18 from last season.
Kylian Mbappe (OVR 98)
Kylian Mbappe is already one of the world’s top players, and he will almost certainly lead the Ligue 1 Team of the Season.
Mbappe is the leading scorer in the French league, and he could even become a member of the 99 club.
