Bianca Belair DISRESPECTED by WWE 2K22 ratings reveal

WWE 2K22 ratings are always a hot topic as the reveals start rolling in, but the latest one is downright insulting to a former SmackDown Women's Champion.

The WWE 2K22 rating for Bianca Belair is now out, and they seem to have completely ignored how good The EST of WWE continues to prove herself to be.

Bianca Belair DISRESPECTED by WWE 2K22 ratings reveal

WWE 2K22 ratings always stir up a little controversy each year as some superstars get rated too high or too low, but usually even those little things aren't too significant.

However, the latest reveal for Bianca Belair should make her feel absolutely disrespected as WWE Games and Visual Concepts have egregiously underrated The EST of WWE.

The reveal was made on Twitter from the WWE Games account, which has been their style with the recent Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre reveals as well.

Despite touting Belair's "StrongEST, FastEST, ToughEST" catchphrase in the reveal, they have only give the former SmackDown Women's Champion a mediocre 86 OVR rating.

While it's an upgrade from her rating in WWE 2K20, it's not one that truly takes into account how much Bianca Belair has accomplished since that game was released, and arguably confirms she was also underrated in the last installment.

Bianca Belair had a 77 OVR rating in both WWE 2K19 and WWE 2K20, meaning they didn't seem to factor in any of her experience or choose to properly give her the rating she had earned in the last installment either.

Bianca Belair will likely be far from the highest rated female superstar

There are a few factors to consider when it comes to exactly why Bianca Belair's WWE 2K22 rating is too low, and her reveal may not seem as egregious simply because she's the first female superstar to be announced.

We've seen footage of others in the game, but so far Belair is the only female superstar with a confirmed WWE 2K22 rating. At a glance, that might make it seem completely reasonable, but the others we've seen and last year's ratings tell a different story.

Back in WWE 2K20, they came very close to closing the gap in overall ratings between male and female superstars. Dual cover stars Roman Reigns and Becky Lynch were only a few points away.

LOOKING BACK: Lynch and Reigns near the top of the ratings in WWE 2K20

Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey were the two highest rated women in WWE 2K20 with each receiving a 90 OVR rating, and the highest rated men were Brock Lesnar and The Rock at 93 OVR with Roman Reigns and Hulk Hogan close behind at 92 OVR.

We've already gotten reveals for Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre putting them at 91 OVR, right on par with that upper echelon, but it's unlikely either will be the highest rated superstar in WWE 2K22. That honor is almost sure to go to Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar, and they could be as high as 95 OVR based on where Lashley and McIntyre have landed.

With those potential ratings in mind, we're likely to once again see Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair near the top, maybe even closer to 93 OVR. If that range rings true, putting Bianca Belair at a meager 86 OVR completely disregards the year she's had.

Belair defeated Sasha Banks in the main event of WrestleMania 37 for the SmackDown Women's Championship, defended the title four times including inside Hell in a Cell, and then she was first disrespected by having to lose the title in a mere 26 seconds to an unannounced returning Becky Lynch.

While that victory may be enough to put Becky above Belair, it's not enough to justify Belair that far below her in the WWE 2K22 ratings. At a bare minimum, Belair has earned an 89 OVR rating in WWE 2K22, and it may deserve to be even higher once we learn where they place Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair.
