WoW Classic WotLK Alchemy Guide: Leveling, Materials, & Recipes

Alchemy has been a profession that during World of Warcraft's lifespan has garnered more and more attention. Its ability to create consumables such as potions, flasks, and elixirs is an excellent way for players to earn a significant boost of enhancements or stats for their character.

This type of benefit can be expected come Wrath of the Lich King Classic's release, as this cold-hearted expansion will have tons of new recipes to learn and items for Alchemists to craft.

With that in mind, here's an in-depth guide for Alchemy in WotLK Classic.

WoW Classic WotLK Alchemy Guide

What does Alchemy offer in WotLK Classic?

Once WotLK Classic launches, there will be tons of items and other features players can utilize.

Alchemists, as opposed to other professions that generally center on crafting gear or singular benefits, focus on creating consumables, some of the most powerful in the game at that. Consumables such as Runic Healing Potions and Runic Mana Potions, and a myriad of flasks such as Flask of Endless Rage Flask of the Frost Wyrm, and Flask of Pure Mojo.

On top of their consumables, Alchemists possess something unique to just them, the ability to transmute. They can transform several different materials to create uncut gems or event bars for Blacksmiths. They can also create Alchemist-specific trinkets that increase the effectiveness of healing and mana potions of the wearer.

Best Ways to Level Alchemy

Unlike players who hold Tailoring or Enchanting professions where materials can be hard to come by as they don't have a gathering profession to benefit them, Alchemy can utilize Herbalism as a great and economic way to level up their skills.

Knowing that it can be fairly straightforward in that players can just pick up herbs for their required materials makes the whole process much easier.
